Moncada Windows Doors & Siding

Poor customer service. I've needed repairs done on particularly large window. It's somewhat oversized and so the lift mechanism breaks down easily - not Moncada's fault necessarily but why wasn't this discussed when they came in for a consultation/estimate? Anyway, they rarely return calls. I have to hound them to get any kind of response.

Our experience with Moncada Windows and Doors was very disappointing. After an initial delay in the installation of two new custom doors and a custom storm door, there were then several mistakes with the installation requiring them to return for repairs the following week. These included a loose handset, off-centre lock, missing flashing, and a large chunk of damaged plaster from our wall. One deadbolt was mismatched to the handset but they installed it anyway and promised to replace it with the one we ordered and paid for. Three months later we are still waiting for them to return. Numerous phone calls and emails have been left unanswered. We do not recommend Moncada Windows and Doors.

We ordered windows, siding, eavestroughs, leaf guards, and downspouts in October 2014. The work was done in November 2014. The installer of the siding/eavestroughs/downspouts left a huge mess of siding bits, metal flashing and screws all around our house and did not complete the job. The leaf guards were never installed and some of the eavestroughs do not drain properly and are now collecting water and dripping constantly. My husband and I have made numerous calls to the Moncada office since then. If anyone answers the phone at all, they are very polite and assure us that someone will be coming to take a look, but it never happens. Don't bother with this company.

Discovered 2 years after window installation that no caulking was used in any of the 3 windows resulting in leaks from rainfall. The mechanism on all 3 windows also stopped working within 4 years after promises from the company about the reliability. Contacted them and never had any response.

If you live in the east end of Toronto and need to replace your windows, this is the company to go with. We interviewed several charismatic window salesmen from a wide range of suppliers from Brock to Pella, but were not impressed. Moncada has been in the neighbourhood for years, and are intimate with the peculiarities of older houses. They have a very good product, dedicated in-house installation expertise and an honest straight-up approach to sales and service . We love our new windows and front door and couldn't be happier with our choice.

Moncada was the 3rd company we had for windows - doing a few at a time. We were most satisfied with them. Were surprised they sent one guy for the job but he worked like crazy and got it done. One very large window and one double hung. No problems.

We've used Moncada to replace 4 windows in our home, most recently casement windows for our master bedroom and dining room. The windows came in within a week of measuring! The install was quick, clean and professional. They even noticed a problem with my screen door and offered to fix it - which they did! These is a great neighbourhood company with great prices and service.

We had our windows replaced over a month ago and needed the company to come back to fix some problems. We have been contacting them at least once a week and getting many excuses. They keep promising to send someone out, but they never show up. I am really disappointed in how they treat customers once they have taken your money.

Very impressed with the job and work from the sale to the completion. Anthony and the installers were very friendly and answered all the questions my wife and I asked. I find hard to believe some of the statements on other negative reviews.The job was completed on time as promised. I had doors done by another company in my previous home in 1996 and I can definitely say Moncada is better than my previous. Price of the project was cheaper than my others quotes. I will 100% recommend to anyone.

They are OK , but not realy OK,
year after when my windows were install, i send a email re difected
frame, untill today i didn't hear from them. So not too good, My windows were done 2011 - 2012, i sent, message year after. No respond untill today, and they claim 10 years waranty!?
