I purchased a Groupon for Home Pro back in December 2012. When I wanted to use it, they said they were fully booked for vouchers until April 2013. Since I need the chimney clean for that winter, I had to go elsewhere but they guaranteed my voucher validity until Sept 2013. I emailed in Sept 2013 to set up an appointment. It was pretty seamless. Brandy was helpful. She gave a 4 hour window and I said my aunt, no I, would be there. Not a problem. On service day, the technician could not find the house (I still don't understand to this day) and could not reach my aunt, who doesn't speak English. Home Pro kindly rescheduled. Second attempt, they showed up but the technician felt that the chimney was not safe for use and hence, did not want to clean it. He quote to repair some roofing shingles at that time for $30-$40 instead. My aunt paid for it. Since I could not redeem the voucher, I asked for a refund. I've had bad experiences with group vouchers but Home Pro was very professional and issued a refund cheque right away. Extremely impressed. A rocky start but the integrity of this company is there and they will have my future business.
