Adnan was instrumental in assisting with my vision of a front yard patio and with the aid of his 3D video I was able to get a clear picture of what the project would look like. Libran and his crew arrived on schedule and did a fabulous job over two of the hottest days this summer. They finished the job and after a reviewing their work, Libran wasn't happy with the coping stone and advised that we have it replaced. It took a while for them to return, due to their busy schedule, but when they came back the work was completed 100% to our satisfaction. Neighbours stop and admire the patio and we've received many compliments. It's everything we had envisioned last winter when we decided to make this our 2021 summer project.

Devon and his partner arrived right on time, wearing protective face coverings. They reviewed the areas I wanted cleaned then proceeded with the work. They were extremely professional and friendly respecting that my husband and I were both working from home. They even left us with "booties" to wear until everything dries. I would highly recommend this company.

Joe and Mark arrived less than an hour after contacting them on the phone. They were extremely professional, careful and considerate during this time of COVID-19. The work was done to my complete satisfaction and the surfaces now look as bright and polished as they did 13 years ago when first installed. Thank you so much. FIVE STARS!

This was our second time using Otto's Masonry. About 12 years ago they did repair on our chimney letting us know that it had about 10 years left before it would need to be totally rebuilt. From our initial contact back in January to check it out, to when they came this past week to rebuild the entire chimney, they were prompt, accommodating and very professional. Otto came the day before to check out the job site and his crew arrived on schedule the next morning. As we had just had new sod laid in our front yard, we asked them to be extra careful so as not to cause any damage. They took our concerns very seriously to make sure nothing was damaged. At the end of the second day, the chimney had been rebuilt, the front yard had been completely cleaned up and everything looked great. I would highly recommend them.

We contacted Absolute Home Services back in February to discuss plans for the front of our house in mid-town Toronto. Ilse made the long trip from Georgetown on a Sunday to our home and went through the different ideas for a new sidewalk, improving the front garden layout and cleaning up our cobblestone driveway. She was a pleasure to work with. In April, Bryan and his crew showed up right on schedule and together we went over the work that was to be done as this was my first time discussing it with him. The entire scope of the job took a total of 3 days. There was a miscommunication with the layout pattern of the sidewalk stones which was easily corrected the next day and when it was done, we were extremely pleased. Bryan and his crew re-positioned the front garden bed stones in the exact pattern I wanted, and finally they cleaned up our cobble stone driveway, applying a new coat of polymer sand. New sod for the front yard came about a week later after many days of rain and it looks great. When the project was done, the front yard was left clean and looking beautiful. We are very pleased with the commitment to detail that Absolute Home Services provided. We agree with many of their other customers that it's refreshing to work with people who take pride in their work. We are excited to work with Absolute Home Services again for our next project which is exterior painting and deck cleaning and staining.

We used Canadian Roofing about 15 years ago to re-roof our home, well before I had ever heard of the Homestars website. With the terrible rains and winters we had over the past few years, we noticed that a few shingles on the southern side of our roof had come away. I called Jason's office and was immediately given his cell. Turns out he had people working in my neighborhood and they sent someone over the next day to repair the area. We will definitely use them again to redo the roof in a year or two.

In early December we made a decision to have a sump pump installed. Mike came out and gave us a quote and we scheduled the appointment. He and his crew arrived on time and were extremely professional. They cleaned up so well when they were done, that had we not been there to see the work in progress we might have thought they hadn't come at all. A week after the work was completed, Mike returned to explain all that had been done. He even did the paper work to apply for the City of Toroto Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program. We would highly recommend this company and will certainly call on them again, if the need arises, in the future.

We were thinking we might have to replace the upstairs toilet. Leaside arrived promptly and in short order efficiently restored it's functionality. For minimal cost, we'll get a number of additional years of use.

We had all of our eaves troughs and downspouts replaced in August. Russell responded quickly to our request to come out and give us a quote for our home in mid-town Toronto. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He saw the difficulty replacing the eaves troughs on the west side of the house as it is extremely close to our neighbours home and he still got the job done perfectly. He saw the flaws with the downspout placement and repositioned then in a much better configuration. My wife and I were very impressed with their workmanship and their courteous manner. This project was done in one day with no complications. We would recommend them to everyone!

It was a pleasure dealing with Jeff right from the first phone call. He came to our home, took measurements, made some recommendations and provided a quote very quickly. He then came ahead of schedule due to a cancellation. We found that he went above and beyond what our expectations were, dealing with several unforeseen issues because the existing skylight was installed 30 years ago. He took photos and called with an update of how things were going. We're very happy with the end result and I would definitely recommend him and his company. Great job Jeff.

A major renovation 8 years ago left us with a few electrical annoyances that we were finally ready to address. From our initial meeting with Tony to Joe and Mario who arrived on time on the scheduled date, every issue that needed to be addressed was handled perfectly. They saw what needed to be done, understood the end result we were looking for and found solutions to all our issues. They were pleasant, professional and easily worked around and with another trade who was also engaged at the same time to add a few new kitchen cabinets. The end result has changed how I view my kitchen. It's now better lit and the new interior lights in the glass cabinets are the best. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, whatever size of electrical job you have.
