My uncle had a copper sprinkler supply line leak inside the wall and FP plumbing was the first company among a few to contact me. After I provided as much information via pictures and video, Fabio gave a rough estimate on labour and came out to see the issue before firming up the quotation. Work was done quickly and professionally and Fabio was so easy to deal with. If you are like me, I tend to keep the contractors that I find honest and easy to deal with, on speed dial for my own home and for referrals to relatives. Fabio will be dealing with another a plumbing issue at my mother in law in the near future. My uncle sends his regards appreciation. Thank you!!

I have used Yevhen' service twice and found him accurate, honest, reliable, friendly and competitive. He will give you honest advice on whether to replace or repair. His repair quotes are competitive and you can count on the proper diagnosis and repair. He fixed my mother's fridge in a timely manner and my mom was pleased with the service. I have recommended him to all my family.

Our property management at 126 Simcoe changes frequently, so Sychem was not one of their preferred contractors. The current preferred hvac company, declined my request for service, sending me an email saying they cannot accept my service request at this time...never had this happen to me before...no explanation given. I decided to go through my old emails and called Sychem who was the preferred hvac contractor at that time in 2018. Sychem was responsive both times and even diagnosed the first issue in 2018 over the phone by resetting the heat pump and thermostat, and no visit was needed. This time though, resetting the heat pump and thermostat did not work, so a visit was required. Their service call rates are competitive for a downtown core condo visit, but the main thing is that they diagnosed and fixed the issue promptly without a need to go back. Will use their service again in the future, regardless of which company is recommended by property management.

Forgot to submit this review from Jan 2018 after Casa Bella did a great job at my mom's house doing all her windows and patio door. As expected everything went smoothly despite -25 C temperatures. The guys did a great job and over a year later, there are no issues. Have recommended Casa Bella to family and friends and they have been happy with the service. One good thing about Casa Bella besides the great product and competitive pricing is that the installation crews are their employees and not a third party. They take pride in the installation and product and you won't be disappointed.

Before homestars was around, I found Mark's family-run company by a recommendation from my brother who had shutters made for his home. Not only was Mark the nicest contractor that we got estimates from, but he was part owner, fabricator, and one of the installers. Our house was outfitted with 38, 3.5" wood plantation shutters, of which 2 were fabulous arched sunburst panels. Since it was installed 5+ years ago, I can say that the fit and finish of the product held up well. I recently replaced all windows and contacted Mark for help in reducing the width of 8 of the panels and replacement parts for some of the magnets. Mark did not hesitate to help and gave me complimentary replacement parts. He goes beyond what I would expect and I had to hop on here to let you know that they make quality shutters. I have referred family and friends over the years and they concur that the experience has been absolutely positive.

From German (sales) to Bill (installation) and the crew, Casa Bella did a great job with entire house windows and sliding door replacement at my mom's house. The crew was punctual and really diligent about taking care not to damage the inside of the house while working there. All flooring was protected and the guys were all super nice. We went with Casa Bella because a few family members highly recommended them and we can see why. Pricing was very competitive and estimates were detailed. The installation went smoothly despite the cold weather. Next up...my house

The high ratings for Moore Skylights Inc. is 100% justified. After speaking with a few companies, I chose to go with Jeff's company because replacing skylights was his specialty. I found Jeff to be thorough and very professional and he provided me with pictures of the condition of the old skylight, explained the replacement process and pictures after the replacement. His pricing is very competitive and he is easy to work with. He was punctual and took care to protect the interior of my home and cleaned up perfectly. Since my install, I have entrusted him with replacing the skylight at my mom's house and recommended his company to my sister.

After getting quotes from 4 different contractors for replacing the gutters on my home and my mom's, I selected True North because John was the only one to leave me samples, made a follow-up call to discuss his extremely accurate and detailed quotes. True North was competitive and answered all my questions. This review is for my mom's house. This summer has been challenging for outdoor work and John was great in letting me know when he would be on site. Every detail and changes to the work was explained. The job site was clean after installation and the new eavestroughs look great. True North uses up-to-date hinges, fasteners and joints so I am confident that the new gutters will perform well and remain leak-free at the joints. John is one of the most accommodating and friendly contractor I have met, and I do not hesitate to recommend his company to family and friends.
