I reached out to Pter to discuss our shower tiles and grout. Peter was very responsive and we hired him to repair our cracked tile and regrout. He took the time to explain the process, including potential issues. The shower looks beautiful. We are glad to have hired him for the job.

We moved within the last year and created a list if many little electrical fixes we required and found Rob on HomeStars. He took all sorts of time with me over the phone and had one of his electricians come to the home and complete all the tasks. They returned a few weeks later to install 3 pot lights, hide the cords for 2 tvs and add a light and switch to a small under stair crawl space. They are thorough, on time, tidy as they go and extremely knowledgeable. I had some of my own supplies and Mike was also prepared with supplies on hand. Excellent company. Would definitely recommend them!!!

We calledE Z Lawn Sprinklers when we moved to our new home and needed the sprinklers to be opened and repaired. Eugene was tidy, thorough and took the time to ensure our concerns were addressed. The staff are responsive and care about the service they provide. We would recommend this service to anyone requiring new sprinklers (they installed the sprinklers at our previous home) or sprinkler repairs. Great team!

After a rain storm in January, Leon came prompty. He made some recommendations which we agreed to. He took pictures and took the time to answer all of our questions. Joe came to do the installation on time. The work was completed in a professional manner. Boss Mechanical responded quickly to replace our unit during the hottest days in June. The installers were professional, tidy and took their time to ensure the unit was installed properly and working well before they left. I reviewed Homestars before calling Dimitri. His company had excellent reviews and it was easy to see why. He was prompt, professional and took his time in replacing our front door lock and making the additional adjustments that were not completed when it was initially installed. Before leaving, he fixed two other door knobs that were loose (also not properly installed, from earlier renovations). We would DEFINITELY recommend Dimitri to anyone who is looking for someone honest, punctual and professional.

We recently completed renovations on our home and called T-Rex to come and clean our windows and eaves (they had cleaned prior to our renovation as well) in Spring 2011. The individual cleaning our back bow windows damaged our stucco (brand new). When I called later that day to discuss the damaged stucco, I was initially told by Sami that they would repair damages. Weeks later when it came time to fix the stucco/mouldings, Sami indicated that he didn't feel that they made the damage to our stucco/mouldings. He had a small area repaired but refused to repair the entire area damaged by his worker's ladder. We had to pay another $400 to have it fixed properly. We would never use Sami and T-Rex again (or refer them). Although a nice guy, he doesn't stand by his word.

We are undergoing a major renovation and found Toronto Granite on Homestars. We chose them because of the great reviews. We decided to add some extra marble in our master bath and they came out to our home on a number of occasions to accomodate our contractor and the other trades working in our home. They were quick to fix a small problem we had and offered to compensate us for this as well. The team is happy to help in any way. We would definitely recommend then to anyone renovating their home.

When we began to see problems with our driveway pavers separating (4 months after they were installed), Matthew was reluctant to return calls and eventually told us he wouldn't fix the driveway b/c of the plumbing work that we had done beforehand. Matthew had complete knowledge of this work before he started and neglected to tell us that it would affect the way the pavers settled. Unbelievably, he offered to give us a competitive quote to repair it. THIS WAS 4 MONTHS AFTER IT HAD BEEN COMPLETED. Unfortunately, it was a huge learning experience.
