When we realized our laundry machine was at end of life, we began searching online for a replacement. Our concern was our small stairwell leading to the basement. We spent time searching stores, taking measurements, and we still were not sure what would work for us. So we stopped in at Faulkner's, and met with Gord. We told him our concerns and he offered to send Bob on site to take measurements. Bob showed up and measured all of our doorway openings and stairwells and then was able to recommend the washer and dryer that would work for us. This is the sort of service that is rare. Their pricing was absolutely competitive with what we could find online, but more importantly, they respected our money and ensured that what we purchased from them would be right for us. I cannot recommend them enough

I ordered new windows and doors for my house - and wanted to remove the ugly metal frame that surrounded the door and underlined the window. However, when we removed the metal, we found missing bricks, missing mortar, etc. DISASTER! I frantically called a few companies to give me quotes to fix the bricks and re-do the mortar and Turnbull Masronry was one of them. Ron was amazing. He explained the project very well and completely understood my urgency in getting the job done (as there were holes in my house that rain could penetrate!) His crew showed up and they were SO professional. The job took a few days. I was amazed at the continuous clean up of the job site; the thoroughness of the job, and Ron's patience at answering all my questions and concerns. In fact, we had an issue come up during the project - which often happens with home renos. I have to say that Ron not only addressed the issue to my immense satisfaction, but also was pro-active about follow up. Turnbull Masonry is an outstanding company to deal with. They respect their customers and treat them beautifully. If I had more projects for them, I would bring them back in a heartbeat.

I needed to add curb appeal to my little bungalow - and replace the draughty front window. I got 3 quotes and settled on Clera because of how professional they were. When Frank told me that a certain window (that I had received a quote on from another company) would not work properly, I realized I was dealing with professionals. The new front door is a work of beauty and the windows are terrific. What makes Clera stand out to me is the fact that I had brick work done AFTER the door install. Clera came back to re-caulk and ensure that I was completely satisfied. Amazing.

I couldn't be happier.

We decided to clear out our basement, and went looking for a bin rental. Junk It! made it so easy! Seems pretty simple to rent a bin, but in fact, not a lot of companies are so thorough. I appreciated the reminder emails and the follow up.

I needed my boiler (for my radiator system) cleaned. Aarom from Atomic came over (right on time) and did the cleaning. BUT - he also checked each and every radiator to see if they were working and we discovered they weren't. He diagnosed a problem with the pump. I agreed to the replacement, and he isntalled the pump. My house is now so toasty warm! His knowledge, customer service and ontime service was exceptional. I truly appreciated the time he spent explaining my boiler system to me so I can understand / interpret potential future problems.

I wanted to replace all the mortar between the brinks of my aging bungelow. Don showed up to give me a quote on a long weekend! It was a very messy job, but the crew cleaned up well after each day and ensured my neighbours were not too inconvenienced.

My bathroom pipes backed up, and I called Lakeshore Mechanical. They offered to come that same day, but I asked for next day. They arrived when they said they would and fixed it quickly. Very satisfied.
