Jan 26, 2020 This is the KitchenAide warranty and recommended repair company. After reading so many negative Google reviews and a couple of negative ones on here I have to say I was pretty spooked and apprehensive about using them. Talked to their office, it was three days to get a technician to come have a look due to it being -35 and they were busy as all get out. Angela was very friendly and helpful. On the Friday, Jan 24th, that they were to come out she gave me a 2 hour window and the Tech showed up exactly when I expected. It did not take him long to diagnose the problem. There were some significant parts needed, board, compressor, full evaporator unit, so he need to check with the company to see if these parts were even available. By Monday it was clear they could not get the parts needed to repair the fridge so they submitted the warranty claim to the company for me. Whirlpool/KitchenAide now has the file and are dealing expeditiously with it. The service call out fee of $100 is exactly what I was expecting and they only charged me for about 30 minutes so about $150 total.. Long way of saying I was VERY impressed with how I was treated by the office, and how good the service tech, Dong, was. He was polite, knowledgeable and quick and had the warranty claim processed for us. All in I would use Aptco again without hesitation.
