Moe was one of the only companies that actually came to look at our garage before giving us a quote. He and his partner got the gutters done quickly, and they look great. He is a very nice guy and easy to deal with and will answer any questions you might have.

We purchased outdoor lights online, and the process was easy, from purchase to pick up. We then returned to buy a lawnmower and other small outdoor things. We were helped immediately, and found what we were looking for without a problem. I like the large isles and cleanliness. My only suggestion would be to have more check out's open.

We purchased our glass shower enclosure from here. Staff was helpful but not all that knowledgeable when it comes to explaining why one brand is better than another. Do your research and know what you want to buy before going. It's a nice large store, and they carry a lot of variety.

Our fridge died and so we needed one asap. Many companies don't have them in stock, or cost too much for ones they do have available without ordering and taking weeks for delivery- so we went here to their scratch and dent on the upper floor. It was great. Quite a bit of selection. We found a very expensive fridge for a fraction of the cost because of a large scratch on the side (that is covered up by a wall anyways. We love it. The price was great. The service was pretty good (only one guy on the floor to help everyone looking at appliances). We picked up ourselves and they helped load into our truck.

Recently purchased parts for our humidifier. The staff weren't all that knowledgeable about the specific part I needed- but at least could tell me where to look. The store was clean, and the cashier was fast and friendly.

We order glass from Vitrum. The order process is easy. They send a shipping confirmation, and we receive the glass in a reasonable time frame. They have always had what we needed in stock-or able to order. Their prices are competitive.

Mostly organized. A bit higher in price than ordering from other places on some hardware items, but great for if you need something in a hurry. They always have what I am looking for or can order it in. Some staff are not knowledgeable about what they have in stock. I will be told they don't have it in, but then will speak with another staff who will grab it for me from the back. Also frustrating that nothing has a marked price (prices tend to fluctuate more than a regular hardware store).

Best renovation store. Buy at Lowes! All stores are so organized, have ample selection, wide rows, and knowledgable staff! And u don't have to run around to find help- just press the button located in every department and someone will come immediately.

Did a good job cleaning the windows. Didn't offer to clean the screens like other companies have done for us in the past. Didn't show up on the day the were booked- but think that had been a miscommunication between their truck and the receptionist. We didn't hire them again this year, but they did a fine job. The kilts is a fun touch!

This product is a great alternative to the vinyl decking which we didn't like as you can see the seams. So this goes on somewhat like paint- you mud and tape the seams of the plywood, sand, prime, paint on rubber coating, then paint on the colour of your choice. Seems easy- however it is not. I like the product- but it has been a hassle to do ourselves. Each coat needs the surface to be dry for 24 hrs before application, and at least 24-72 hours after application, which is very hard if you live in a rainy area- and it can't be over 30 degrees Celsius either. Also, after all is done you are supposed to stay off of the deck for 14 days- which sucks. Be very careful when mudding/sanding and make sure all dust/dirt is removed before priming and painting. You will see the seams or mud that hasn't been sanded well when you are finished and it won't look good! Make sure your T&G plywood is as perfect as you can find- the less damages to cover up the easier it is and better it will look. It's a great product- but maybe easier to hire someone to do it!

Bought a pail of pink paint -to paint the underside of our deck. The pink paint makes the wood resistant to mold. There is also paint that fireproofs the wood, but we didn't get that kind. The paint was easy to work with and works well as far as we can tell. When I went to their warehouse the owner was very helpful as was the receptionist and the shop guy that helped me out. Nice company to work with. Was always able to answer my questions when I called and did their best to accommodate us when the company we were buying the joists from was being difficult.

Great Customer Service. Good product. Some Ijoists were a bit twisted but usable- pink paint needed to be redone in some areas. T&G Plywood all had to be returned and new stuff delivered as it was warped and delivery guy dropped from truck.

After a number of emails back and forth I had decided to book with this company to move our relatives in Edmonton. My grandmother was moving from her 1 bedroom apartment into a 2 bedroom at a different location, and we were supposed to pick up another relatives things from a storage unit as well as they were moving in together. I was assured in the emails that the truck would be large enough for a packed 8X10 storage unit-equal to a one bedroom apartment, as well as another 1 bedroom apartment (2 -1 bedroom apartments). I was very clear, as to the amount of things needed to be moved. I even went as far as to list each piece of furniture and the amount of boxes in the email! However, after all that they did not send a truck big enough. We had to load up from the storage unit- go to the 2 bedroom to unload-then go back to the apartment to load up again- and back to unload. The girl on the phone -at first said it was my fault and that I wasn't clear in the emails- Then after calling her back and reading the emails word for word back to her she realized her mistake- but still was not apologetic at all. Still saying it was my fault and I should have booked a bigger truck. She also said I was welcome to choose another company to move the rest of our things if I was unhappy! who am I going to get on moving day! I was never told the different truck sizes in the beginning- Just was assured the truck they were sending would be big enough. This caused me to have to pay extra time for the movers- and so much hassle and frustration. The movers were great, pleasant young men and I felt bad for them being in the middle of my phone disputes with this receptionist lady who was very rude. I feel I was definitely led to believe they could handle my move, but in fact if they knew they would have to take 2 trips and told me- I would have chosen a different company had I known they couldn't move everything in one trip. Definitely ripped off. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and after 2 months I received a refund for $100. At least that was nice of them, but a hassle, and waste of time for sure.
