I had my basement renovated by this team & was very pleased with the final result, as well as with the care they took in doing the job all along the way. It ended up taking somewhat longer than anticipated, but this is something that's practically a given with renovations, in any event. The prices were a bit steeper than I would have hoped, but as I was in somewhat of tricky time-sensitive situation, I decided to bite the bullet & go with them, anyway. The job they left behind was great, however, & has made a world of difference.

Following the discovery that the gas range that I'd inherited with the purchase of my house was leaking, I decided to replace it with an induction range and therefore needed to get the gas line tapped. I'd only very recently moved to Ottawa & couldn't find anyone that was personally recommend to do the job, so put my faith in google & went with Mike Shurben after reading multiple rave reviews about his work. Well, I'm happy to say that I was not disappointed - Mike was extremely helpful & got the job done easily & efficiently - would definitely recommend!

I decided to use Bulgari Granite for my kitchen countertop after learning from a friend that they had very good prices for granite. In the end, I'm not sure how much better the prices actually are than elsewhere, but the owner was pleasant to deal with & was able to accommodate my somewhat hectic schedule, which I definitely appreciated. Overall I'm not as happy with my countertops as I thought I would be, mostly because of the type of granite that was used & that is somewhat rougher than I realised it was. Still, Bulgari Granite is a good company that I'd recommend.

Had both of our toilets replaced by Paradise Bath & was very pleased with the job. The Paradise Bath people were knowledgeable, friendly, & punctual, & took care to get the job done properly & carefully, being sure to clean up thoroughly after themselves which I very much appreciated.

As a result of some flooding problems following heavy rains, we had our plumbing investigated by a team of 3 who were very efficient & through in their investigation. They arrived with a giant fancy camera that can descend into the pipes & promptly went about their work, making note of anything unusual & mapping out the plumbing of our house. I ended up deciding not to go through with some of the work that was proposed due to the high cost, but would feel confident using the R.V. Anderson team in the future.

I had all of our 20 year old windows replaced by Orleans Glass & was very impressed with how thorough & efficient they were. They'd initially estimated that it would be a two day job, but despite it being only 2 men, they were able to complete the job in one very busy day. There were a few adjustments that needed to be made following the installation, & CSR was equally as helpful & polite in sorting this out as they'd been when scheduling the installation. I hope I won't have to replace my windows anytime soon, but will certainly keep Orleans Glass in mind for the future - would definitely recommend!

Our eavestroughs were in serious need of being cleaned, with leaves & branches from the trees nearby having clogged them up pretty badly. The Top-Hat crew did a great job of cleaning all of them out, bringing along with them not only multiple people, but also ladders of multiple sizes as well as ropes & harnesses for the eavestroughs at the very top of our 4-story house. We'll use their services again in the future!

Had a maintenance check done for my 5+ year old furnace recently & was very impressed with the service & the people at FFD. Each & every person I was in contact with was very helpful & friendly, & the maintenance check itself was very thorough, with the service person taking the time to explain everything to me & patiently answer all of my many questions.
