We found a bit of mould in our linen closet, and because we were also having issues with condensation on our bathroom ceiling, we decided to call Restoration 1 to come and have a look. Ryan and Tyler came and from the moment they arrived, were very professional, experienced and focused. The mould ended up not being a major issue, but they did discover a large area of wetness on my bathroom ceiling.

They worked steadily that day to remove some of the ceiling and the wet insulation. Because it was already getting into the evening, they said they would come back the next day to finish the job. They sealed off my bathroom with zippered plastic doors and a very high-tech reverse air system so that nothing from inside the bathroom (dust, mould spores etc) could escape, even if the doors were opened. They also had a dehumidifier running and a large fan to dry out the area. The next day, they removed the rest of the wet material, bagged it all up and even used a HEPA vacuum on the area outside the bathroom to make sure it was clean.
Despite doing some necessary demolition to my home, by the time they left, it was absolutely spotless. I can't believe how clean my home was! They showed so much respect for my home and answered all my questions. They work together like a well-oiled machine. From start to finish, it was an extremely pleasant experience. Thank you to Ryan and Tyler for doing such an amazing job and being so helpful during a difficult situation. I would absolutely hire them again in the future!

This is the third time we have had unfortunate water issues in the basement. Ryan and Ty from Restoration 1 came right away. Evaluated the situation and cleaned the water from every nook and cranny that it seeped into. They were clean, efficient and respectful. Super professional. Communicated realistic timelines with me. We took comfort in having Restoration 1 professionals in our home for their service in three different emergencies over the years. Their response time was fast. Last week these professionals assessed the problem, removed the drywall, eliminated the mold and dried the area with their varied equipment. Thank you to Andy, Ryan, and Tyler for their workmanship and attention to detail.

I had my main drain back up in the HVAC room with sewage spilling all over the floor. I called Restoration 1 and they were immediately responsive with empathy and professionalism.
Dispatch (Ashley) clearly explained what I was to expect next and ensured that they got a crew at my home within 2 hours of my original call (which is unfounded give the COVID environment we've been experiencing.
The clean up crew showed up, took stock of the situation, told me exact how they would remediate it, priced it out for me, and got to work. The Tech (Andy) exemplified utmost professionalism in this work and completed the whole job in 2 hours, keeping us calm the during the process.
After completing the job, he again advised what we should doing to ensure the infected area stayed dry. It was the most pleasant experience given the rather foul situation we were dealing with.
This is the 2nd time I have engaged this company for remediation work. I highly recommend them

I am so happy with the expert service we received from Restoration1. Mario came to our house within hours of us calling. Our basement had flooded after heavy rains about a month earlier. We tried to deal with the company our insurance provider recommended but after numerous delays we decided to try someone else, and I’m sure glad we did. Mario and his team were super helpful in explaining exactly what needed to be done. They were professional and worked very quickly. They left my house very clean. I am so happy with their work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them again.

Today i called Restoration 1 Toronto about a difficult water damage problem on the Front Porch of mu 110 year old Home.
Mario came out early afternoon today and told me what the problem was & how to correct it.

Our basement flooded from melting snow, Restoration 1 was one of three quotes we obtained. They suggested and did remove all damaged materials - luckily in our case just the carpet underpad (and they took the materials with them to dispose of), they sanitized the flooded area and then set up fans and a dehumidifier for proper drying, the equipment was left running for 3.5 days. They laid a carpet runner down our stairs to not cause any damage. The two men that were here doing the initial work were very polite and kind, they answered any questions we had.

My Moms basement had a sewer back up, and the whole basement was renovated by Restoration 1. This company is excellent, they came out immediately to do the clean up, everyone was amazing! Special thanks to Eric, Ashley, Rob, Mierko and Dwight!

I was referred to this company by Sewer Squad following the flooding of my basement in mid August 2018 due to a massive rain storm at the time; I was told they do great work. they did do an assessment of the situation very quickly; and removed the damaged parts for drying; my insurance paid up; then I was told the repair work could not be scheduled until the end of September. However, I requested an alternate day, as I would be away on holidays at the time, and was given the day of October 15 - the repair manager did show up and assured me that repair work would start later on this week. On October 18 the company contacted me to say that they could not do the work and would I please find an alternate contractor -... needless to say I am one unhappy customer!
