Appliance Canada incompetent customer service and tech repair follow up

Tech (Ram) from Appliance Canada came on June 10th, said the front panel and electronic control needed to be replaced.
It is July 20th and still no resolution to issue.

Ram, the tech from Appliance Canada and Shanti from customer service dept from Appliance Canada have been incompetent and have not followed up with KitchenAid regarding parts issue when they have promised to do so. The only reason two parts were delivered was because I followed up directly with KitchenAid.
Still waiting for problem to be fixed, incompetence and laziness all around from Appliance Canada, so frustrating!!
Just spoke with Samira who is a Customer Service supervisor, will see if she resolves the issue, not very hopeful considering experience so far.
KitchenAid is also very frustrating to deal with, first rep misinformed me that two parts were delivered when that was not the case, complete incompetence. Second rep was helpful, but if I hadn't called and gone into detail with her regarding the order, there would have been only one part delivered instead of the required two parts.
Yes, First World problem, broken dishwasher, but if I pay for something I expect it to work if it's barely a year old, and if it does break, people need to actually try to help fix the issue and not make it a complete waste of time and waste time following up and chasing people to return phone calls! Had to take two mornings off work to wait for tech and nothing resolved to date!

Bosch Appliance delivered damaged

So we purchased a Bosch microwave/convection oven from Appliance Canada. We waited three weeks from delivery to open it as it was being put into a new custom kitchen. When we opened it the whole front of the appliance where the Bosch symbol was scratched out. I called Appliance Canada right away and had to wait three days for a call back from a manager who actually got a receptionist to call instead and advise that we had 24 hours from delivery to call for any damage. I advised that it should be a brand new product I received and that policy is outrageous considering people don't open up appliances the day they get them and should not expect them to just to check for damage. If it is a new product, there should be no cosmetic damage to the product. The lady was nice enough but could not do much more for me as she was not the manager (who should have returned my calls in the first place). Now we are stuck going through Bosch who also thought the policy was odd and that there should at least be a 30 day return on damaged goods. Never buying from Appliance Canada again. Should have went with Caplan or Tasco. Tasco give 120 days from receipt of product.

Stay Away

Bought all new kitchen appliances, $17,000. So far it's been a nightmare and I don't even have the appliances yet. The salesperson Ken was great. BUT, billing problems in their computer system are inaccurate, everytime I made a payment it still showed an inaccurate balance owing. Employees kept saying, oh don't worry it's just our computer system. I was concerned that the appliances would not get delivered because it still showed a balance owing in their computer system. I use a small 300.00 computer accounting program at my office and I have NEVER produced an inaccurate invoice. Second issue: they called me two days ago to confirm my delivery for today. They said someone would call me the night before to let me know the time frame. That didn't happen. Here I am on the day of delivery having no idea of a time frame of when the appliances will be delivered, so I have to sit at home the entire day waiting. Unacceptable. If this many problems could happen even before the appliances get delivered I shudder to imagine what type of problems I'm going to have going forward once I get the appliances. The customer service so far has been far below any acceptable standard. So, a word of advice, go elsewhere please. Lots of other places sell the same appliances, take your business elsewhere. It's not worth the aggravation. This company will give you a nervous breakdown. Just look at all the negative reviews here. Any company can have an unhappy customer, but when a company has 80% unhappy customers that's scary.

service

I bought two items at appliance Canada in concord Ontario in the amount of close to five thousand dollars.
I have some medical problems so I was looking for more of a lighter
Cooktop which is easy for myself to handle, so the only one I could have found in that store was a floor model, when I received this product and opened it to my surprise there was no attachments to connect the gas line, I was not advised that I would need these items and if I had to buy them, where can I go to buy this.
Now I am left with a stove that cannot be connected because it seems that the connection is different from the Canadian type of connection that would be used in Canada.
Secondly I was looking to get a gas oven as well but never was informed that the one I purchased is not for gas.
We are only humble customers who would like to shop for the good things for their money and I have used this company before but this time the experience is informative as before.
They would to read the fine lines and look out for yourself, but is it not why we have sales rep in the stores to guide us along the way so customers will be happy to go back for future purchases.

It is sad for me to spend so much money and do not know how to get the products to function without the parts that is needed for the item to be of use for the purpose it was made for.
I would appreciate any help to solve this situation. I will check again with the location I bought it from to see what they can do to help us but from speaking to someone there I doubt very much I really do not mind exchanging the products and pay the difference and be happy.

This is not to offend anyone but it is just my experience and I just need a solution.

Thank you so much for your time
Regards
Zohra

What Warranty? High End Appliances….

Very Straightforward review - bought very high end appliances. One iterally stopped working before the manufacturers warranty period - they would not honour it - we had to chase the manufacturer. A lot different than they promote. Bahhh. Bad Appliance Canada.

Appliances

Call Kao. I have used Kao at Appliance Canada for over 12 years. I have bought cottage appliances, home appliances, another home and a rental propert. I have referred a dozen people to Kao and they are all happy. Never a problem and always good recommendation. If Appliance Canada is not good as the reviews say - Kao makes it great!

Kitchen appliances

Purchased a Bosch dishwasher and stove in the clearance section with minor cosmetic scuffs for a good price as well as a brand new LG OTR micro at full price, all at the end of August. Asked my sales person to have them delivered at the end of September as my kitchen Reno would not be at the point where I could have them installed until then. He told me that I HAD to have them delivered earlier as " they need the room in the clearance section and don't want to hold on to them for longer!" I said they would then have to be stored in my garage until the kitchen was ready which he didn't think would be any problem. I was given a delivery window of 6 hours - 8am to 2pm which seemed excessive and they were late and didn't call to inform me. I had to call the delivery company and was told they were running a bit late. I was 3:20 when they arrived. The stove and dishwasher were rather roughly unloaded but appeared to be in the same condition they had been in the showroom. The brand new micro was still sealed in its packaging which appeared whole. As I knew it would have to sit in my garage in the same spot the delivery people had left it until we would be able to install it I foolishly did not insist on its being unpacked so as to protect it. Well you guessed it we went to take it out to install it and it has a massive dent on the top left corner. It is so warped that it cannot be installed and customer service refuses to do any thing other than to imply that I somehow damaged it myself. They had me send them pictures of the damage and said " it looks like it was dropped" but inferred that as it has been sitting in my garage I somehow did it. Had I read the reviews of this company on Homestars I would never have purchased from them and will never recommend them to any one.

Miele Cooktop with touch control

We have a Miele cooktop with touch control back in December 2009. Three year later, the left front burner was broken and we spent Canadian $300. Now in 2015, the left front burner goes busted and we will be paying another $300. Talking to Miele, we were told two options: first get some discount on the parts, exactly like last time, paying total $300, or get the technician to check the problem and decide what to do. However we will have to pay the service call for $200 or chance it if he could reduce it to $100 if we don't want get it replace. Paying top dollar for their quality and we end up having this quality and functionality anxiety over Miele's product. Who wants to pay service call every 2 or 3 years for commodity at home? For this nonsense we might as well buy a cheap Frigidaire cooktop for $600 and then buy a new one after 6 years?

Appliance Canada

I am absolutely livid with Appliance Canada. I bought my Frigidaire Professional Range in March and I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT!!! It's July. I call every week and I'm told that it is out of their control. They have not offered me any compensation in return. I recently bought two other properties and WILL NOT be using Appliance Canada. They are completely unreliable.
