Appliances

I purchased kitchen appliances and paid over 12 000$ Thermador brand is ok and you can buy it in any other store. One of the salesman - Sean wanted to make a sell and promise a set of knifes value over 200$ , but the knifes were on the back order and even though I called many times I never got the knifes. In the same time I was unaware that they are selling us commercial hood. The installation was horrendously expensive as all the parts were non standard, when I wanted to exchange it they wanted 600$ in restocking fees. Nobody told me that at the time of the sell. Overall I was taken for the ride by Sean and the store. I will never deal with them again

Kitchenaid stove, fridge, dishwasher

I purchased stove, fridge, dishwasher from them. Got a decent price in fact. However due to MAJOR design flaw on the stove (not like any other stove ive seen) I have been trying for over 2 weeks to reach ANYONE at the Vaughn location to answer my questions and I keep getting put on hold for 30 minutes or more or hung up on by their absolutely RUDE receptionist. If I didn't live over an hour away, I would drive there and give them a few choice words. I will NEVER purchase another thing from them and will be spreading the word of their ridiculous "customer service" or COMPLETE lack thereof.

fridge, range, microwave, washer dryer

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are so quick and friendly when it comes time to sell you appliances but the customer service after the transaction is is complete is terrible.
Firstly, when my sales person Teresa sold us the fridge, there was no mention of the fridge was on back order for over a month. When a delivery date was finally scheduled, no body called us to inform us that the order was not coming. We instead had to wait another couple weeks. Appliance Canada then chose to blame the manufacturer.
Secondly, when the stackable washer and dryer arrived, I was informed by Appliance canada i would need a stacking kit, called appliance canada and they informed me it was $150, then I go to buy it and it turns out that it does not need that kit, it came with the unit.
Thirdly, I paid the extra $80 in case they had to remove the doors on my fridge when it finally arrived. Fortunately, I did not have to do so. I called them to inquire about a refund and was put in their "Customer service" queue for 2.5 hours. Good thing i have an desk job and can keep on my headphones. I did not even get to talk to someone, I had to hang up bc my bladder was failing. I was even trying to call the reception from a 2nd phone but no one answered.

This is by far the worst run company I have ever dealt with and I have no issue telling anybody who even mentions them my story. The prices arent even that great to be perfectly honest. Dont bother with the hassle.

Appliances

We purchased five appliances and I’m not an expert at appliances which I clearly communicated to the sales team. If you are similar to me then, when dealing with Appliance Canada I highly recommend:

1) Prior to purchasing any product get a site inspection of your kitchen to understand any implications during installation i.e. water supply for the fridge, air duct size 4,6,8, 10, gas installation, conversation of 220v to 110v, etc.
2) There is no after (post) sales support. If you have a problem with the product Appliance Canada is not responsible. You must deal directly with the manufacturer. The manufacturer hires a third partner service vendor.

I hope this helps

Appliance Repair

When my 10 year old Electrolux fridge stopped freezing and I couldn't find anyone to come the same day, Rick from AC Appliance Repair showed up in a few hours as agreed, checked the fridge and explained all the options in details. While he was there, I also asked him to repair my electric range burner. He provided fast and professional service at a very reasonable price! I will definitely call Rick for all my appliance repairs in the future! I highly recommend his service!

Appliances for new home

3 stars because the prices are good but you better pray nothing arrives damaged because if it does you're on your own. Customer service at Appliance Canada is non-existant. I would have rather paid MSRP at a store that cared. MD

Kitchen Appliances

I recently put an order in for a product from Appliance Canada which I had to cancel because I found a similar product in a scratch and dent sale at considerable savings. My experience throughout the sale with Bob Roberts had been very positive one so I felt very bad calling in the cancellation. I couldn't have been more surprised and pleased with how Larry Galea handled the situation. After confirming the reason for the cancellation and understandably putting his best offer and cautions on the table, he conferred with his sales manager, quickly called me back, and processed a full refund over the phone. AC will always be my starting point for purchasing my appliances...see below.

4 years ago, I renovated my kitchen and installed all new appliances which I purchased through Steve Miller at Appliance Canada. He worked very hard to match and source the right products with my very picky needs and had it delivered on time, intact, and on budget. You are guaranteed to get the best price because AC with their price match policy so do your homework. The big advantage is you get to see such a wide variety of products in one place with knowledgeable staff to guide you. Great store to visit whether you live locally or must come from afar. It truly is a one stop shop.
