Avoid - Hot water tank replacement
The technician does not recall causing any burn marks on the carpet, this burn is located on a section of carpet underneath the bed in a different room than where the Hot Water Tank is located. Without accepting blame, Milani has agreed to repair the carpet at no cost to the owner.
Milani offered to cut and patch the carpet and the owner was notified that this "may" have a visible seam; repairs were agreed by the Owner. When carpet repair technicians arrived and reminded her that the seam may be visible, the owner changed her mind on the agreed repairs and demanded that Milani pay her $579.53 as "compensation" for the burn marks... at this point, the source of the burn marks has still not been confirmed. Milani offered a reasonable and fair settlement of $200 as compensation.
The Owner refused Milani's offer of $200 compensation and after considerable review, Milani agreed to pay the demanded $579.53 for the carpets if the Owner agreed that this would satisfy her as a full resolution for the damages claimed. The baseboards in the room were removed to complete all repairs and these were left off in anticipation that the carpet repairs would be completed.
Since the Owner refused to have the carpets repaired as agreed. Milani has offered, on numerous occasions to return to install the baseboards and provide the demanded reimbursement of $579.50 provided the owner agrees that this will satisfy full resolution of the damages.
The “pipe dangling” is part of a previous plumbers work, done incorrectly which Milani cannot be responsible for, however Milani has taken all measures to rectify any issues caused by this pipe.
Milani has offered on many occasions to complete all outstanding damage repairs once the owner confirms that these will satisfy all of her demands.
