I purchased a new furnace, AC and tankless hot water. The install was mediocre at best. The technician didn't tack the gas supply line for the hot water to anything, it was just hanging from my basement ceiling. Took a while to get someone out to fix it.

The warranty visit (2x a year for 10 yrs) is a JOKE!! The office staff calls constantly, even thou she just called, to book an appt. For example - this winter check she called twice in one week to book. We made an appt the first call, so not sure why she called again. She said no one puts notes on the file but it is her, the same person calling each time. The warranty didn't show up and no one called to say he wouldn't make it. She called me the next day to say sorry she didn't know and rebooked.

The warranty guy finally comes out takes a quick look, then tries to up-sell you. They are very aggressive and pushy and use the loophole that they are there for warranty which makes their house call legal. Even thou I specifically say at each call NO SALES ALLOWED.

A day or two later, the office staff calls again. This time they need to book the tech guy. Tech guy actually shows up when scheduled. (Josh was great).

Now today, not even a week later the office staff calls AGAIN (same girl) to book warranty guy. I told her warranty guy already showed up and tech guy even showed up. She again said she didn't have notes saying the guys came out. Then again today 5hrs later that SAME office staff calls to book AGAIN. I again told her it was already booked and completed. She again apologized saying she didn't have notes.

This is the most incompetent company I have EVER dealt with. How can you not know you already called, booked, and booked for service calls. I mean the same person twice in one day.

I can't wait til my contract is complete and these people can get out of my house!!

Please don't confuse the company and do-nothing warranty guys with the service techs. The guy that did come out, Josh, did an amazing job. He was knowledgeable and polite. Feel bad that he is working for such a joke of a company!!

Usually doing work around the house can be very stressful and a big headache. A family member of mine referred me to homestars and now I smile anytime I step into my home. The most friendly, time efficient and respectful people Ive ever encountered. I will NEVER go anywhere else when it comes to home renovations

Just had our dryer vent cleaned and what a great job Ted did.
He explained everything he was going to do and put everything back in its place when he was done. Our dryer vented thru the roof so it was a more tricky job yet Ted got it done in a timely manner.
He even wiped down the floor on his way out.
Ted and Melanie was very courteous and polite dealing with us.
We will use them again when needed.

I called the company initially because I thought I had to replace my furnace that had died. The technician, Chris, came out to our home and after checking everything out he told me that he didn’t see the point of replacing my unit right away as he thought I had another couple of years still. He was able to fix it for $129. Part included. What most impressed me though was how he took the time to walk me through how it worked and explained why it had been broken. He knew how to explain things on my level, someone with ZERO knowledge on what a furnace does or how it works. I’d highly recommend him

I called the company when my furnace broke and had no heat. The technician came out at 8:30 on a Friday night and made sure he had the unit up and running before leaving. He was great!!

Very satisfied with the project. Home Service Professionals offered the most competitive price and the installation was fast and well constructed. This was not an easy job as it entailed installation of an air handling unit in the crawl space of our home but it went without a hitch! I won't be able to check the operation of the unit until the hot weather arrives, but I have every confidence in the integrity of the salesperson, Ron, and am sure that if there is any problem at all it will be quickly resolved.

Ron came to house explained in layman’s terms how we where wasting money with current way we where doing things showed us how we could save money and have new very dependable equipment, no pressure sale at all just true facts. Very professional installation by Hank. We are so far very satisfied with the sales pitch price and service.
