Decor Rest Furniture

I purchased a sectional from another company (won't mention names) truthfully the sectional lasted only about a 5 months, after that it started to look like I had it for several decades, and fabric quality was awful and looked worn out, the over all form even changed and it looked NOTHING like when I first got it. Mind you I am only one person who rarely even sits since I am always out of home for work. After a year I decided to donate it and buy Decor-Rest furniture since my friend always talks highly about it! I have had my Decor-Rest sectional for nearly 2 years now and it still looks GREAT! I may have paid more for it, but I chose the fabric I wanted along with the sectional configuration that suited my home! I AM IN LOVE AND WILL NEVER BUY NON-DECOR-REST FURNITURE EVER AGAIN! Quality means everything when buying furniture, and Canadian made furniture really speaks for itself since its not made in another country, stored there, then shipped here, stored in a warehouse for who knows how long, and then put in a showroom for who knows how long!! BUY DECOR-REST FURNITURE!! IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH EVERY PENNY YOU SPEND.

Similar to others my wife and I ordered a sofa and loveseat from Décor Rest through their local dealer . We were advised that cushions would soften - like the floor model so we ordered firm. When the order arrived the cushions were very hard . We complained to Décor Rest . They contacted us and arranged for the cushions to be redone with softer material. They are fine now and I appreciated the Company's desire to fix the problem. Nice to see a company that still believes in customer satisfaction.

Less than a year ago we purchased two decor-rest reclining armchairs. We are impressed with the look of them, and the overall comfort is great. We recommended them to family, who have since purchased them for their home.

The problem...the material is not high quality. Piling so bad it's like sitting on sandpaper. Retailer warranty member agreed but not decor-rest. They do not stand behind the quality of their product. The retailer is allowing us to exchange them...but for a $200 restocking fee, after paying $1600 for them.

I have just purchased a Decor-Rest living room sofa. And we specified the type of seating that we wanted and it was delivered with great seating comfort. I highly recommend buying Decor-Rest Canadian-made furniture!

We bought a Decor-rest sectional sofa at Brault & Martineau and received it today. It looks very good but it is WAY too firm, much firmer than the one that we tried in store. We ordered the standard foam (not firm), so I don't understand what's going on. The sofa is very uncomfortable, and we are very disappointed.

We purchased our decor rest sofa a few weeks ago and felt that the cushions were too firm .. customer service at decor rest was amazing and helped us get the exact cushion that we wanted. We will definitely be decor rest customers for life

Purchased a sofa in 2011, and the seat springs became flimsy over time and sagged in the middle. They honored their life time warranty on the springs. After dealing with the retailer and Decor-Rest, Decor-Rest agreed to take the couch back to the manufacturer and reinstalled new and beefier springs. I did have to pay $90 for pickup and delivery but I now have a couch that doesn't sag in the middle. Not too often have I dealt with a manufacturer who stands by their products.

I had a desk and two dressers repainted by Decorrestore. I was initially happy with the work until I opened all the drawers and found that they were full of paint dust, fingerprints and handprints. There are also blobs of paint on the sides of the drawers. It is difficult to get all of the dust out and most of the handprints and blobs will not come off.

Decorrestore apologized, but did not offer to clean the drawers or do anything to rectify the problem. Very poor customer service in addition to sloppy work.

I received my sectional 2 weeks ago and upon removing the packing I found a strong smell from the fabric. I dismissed this as I knew it would probably dissipate after a few days. However, the sneezing began and I became very ill. I do have seasonal allergies but I continued to give the sofa a chance and figured it would go away. However, after a weekend with my sick son watching movies I became sicker. My face, lips and tongue became swollen and had trouble breathing. My doctor prescribed steroids and it could have been very serious. I contacted the furniture store no call back. Next day went to the store and they came by for a visit to my home and the manager agreed his face was becoming itchy as well. Next day, no call again. So, I called back and still waiting for the removal of this couch. I have missed work all week and am having a serious allergic reaction. Would not recommend this couch is you have allergies at all. Hopefully, this company will get back to me soon as they don't regard allergies as a serious issue.
