We live in a semi-detached house with a sloped roof in the front and a flat roof in the back. We hired them to replace the sloped roof, which included removal of the original 100 year-old cedar shingles and 2 or 3 other layers of shingles. They were professional and easy to work with (and boy did they work hard)! They also did an excellent job of cleaning up.

We had Paul come to our house two years ago when we first moved in to clean our ducts and service our furnace. The service that he provided at that time was exceptional. He even fixed our gas dryer which had not been connected properly by the previous owners (we had never seen a gas dryer before and were confused as to why our clothes came out smelling like natural gas). He came by today to service our furnace and we were really happy with his customer service once again. He was honest enough to tell us that we won't need our ducts cleaned for another few years, called the day before our appointment to remind us he was coming, and - AMAZINGLY - called the day of to tell us he was running 15 minutes late. He was fast, efficient, courteous, clean and very honest with his pricing. He is honestly a pleasure to do business with. We will continue to use his team for as long as the company is in business.

Robert is conscientious, creative and does excellent work. He’s easy to deal with, very customer focused and reasonably priced. Plus, he and his team do their best to keep your space clean as they work! As he was removing a wall and adding a custom closet in the master bedroom of our new house, his team found that the knob and tube wiring which was supposed to have been removed by the previous owner had not been. He had an electrician in the next day in order to deal with the problem as soon as possible. The custom doors one of his guys built for the closet were outstanding. We feel Robert is trustworthy and efficient, charges what he quotes, and can be counted on to do an excellent job. We will definitely be using him again.

NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! I hired CanAmerican to both pack up boxes at a house in Ottawa and move them along with furniture back to Toronto all in one day. They showed up in Ottawa over an hour late and then men who came were friendly but had no packer with them. They called one in and it took him another hour and a half to arrive. When everything was packed up and the movers were on the road ,I called the company to see when they esitmated the truck to arrive in Toronto (my father and I were leaving work early to meet the truck at my storage locker, which I had rented specifically to store the contents of this move). When I spoke to Pamela she was extremely rude and told me to expect my goods in 2-3 weeks - I had ordered them to arrive SAME DAY. She was unapologetic and said that they tell all of their customers it will take that long. Yet, when she had booked our move she had made arrangements for the movers to call me when they left Ottawa and when they got in that day. She had also told us to expect the truck around 4pm, but if they had other pickups they would arrive latest the next morning. She refused to tell me what day to expect the goods and would not give me the name nor number of a manager. I am still waiting to hear from them regarding our delivery. IN RESPONSE TO THE COMPANY'S RESPONSE - you may have offered us one free month of storage but YOU NEVER PAID. We followed up numerous times and you made it so difficult to get anywhere that we finally gave up.

My husband and I inherited a dining room set from my grandparents. The set was at least 60 years-old and the chairs needed to be re-stuffed and re-covered. Robert and Gary were extremely easy to work with. They’re friendly and efficient and they REALLY know their stuff. They took their time to work with us to find just the right fabric and had great design ideas. We had been storing the chairs in a locker for a few years and were having them reupholstered right before moving into our new house. Robert came to our storage locker to pick up the chairs and delivered them to our house when they were ready (super convenient!). We had some last minute renovation issues and although the chairs were ready, our house was a mess. The guys were extremely accommodating and stored our chairs at their location until we were ready for them. They did an EXCEPTIONAL job – the chairs look amazing (picture to come). My mother grew up with the set as a child and I was interested to see her reaction. She LOVED the way they turned out. We will definitely be using Re-wrap for all of our future needs and have already been recommending them to everyone we speak to. You cannot go wrong with them!

In response to your complaint on April 16, 2007 regarding your move form Ottawa to Toronto, we are sorry that you were disappointed with your move, as keeping our customers satisfied is our priority. It is standard for long distance moves within Ontario that customers are given a pick-up time, such as between the hours of 9-5. Often there will be more than one pick-up from the same location and it is more cost effective for the customer to share the truck with other loads. We do have expedited service upon request, however this service is costly compared to scheduled pick-up moves because one customer would be responsible for moving costs such as mileage and gas. It is typical that long distance moves within Ontario may take 1 to 2 weeks after pick-up for delivery. This time may vary based on the other pick-ups and deliveries scheduled for the truck.
Because your satisfaction is our commitment we offered to cover 1 month of your storage fees, as your delivery did not arrived as you had planned. We apologize for any inconvenience.
