Italo and his team removed our aging, broken eavestroughs and replaced them with a good, solid, properly-engineered system quickly, efficiently and at a very reasonable cost. He made great suggestions to re-route our rain barrel and overflow, sourced a colour-matched divertor for it, and added extra (colour-matched) flashing to cover over where the new eavestroughs left old soffits exposed. Best: no more waterfalls! Next best: seeing Italo teach his younger staff on the job, about how and why the work should be done to a high standard. Our house looks- and works- great!

All our furniture and boxes got moved out of basement storage and into the right rooms in perfect condition and record time. This was our second time hiring Rent-a-son and the service from end-to-end was just as good as the first time: amazing! The co-ordinator (Hussein) made it easy to fit our budget and timing, and the team showed up right on time, worked like (really careful) slaves, got waaay more done than I thought possible in the time, AND they were really cheerful, easy-going guys. Great service, good value, and super people.

Our century home's original, wax-finished oak flooring had been hidden under carpet for 40 years and was dull, dry, stained and fragile. After Demetris and his team were done, the floors and stairs are sleek, solid, even-toned and-- best of all-- still have their beautiful old patina. Where the floor needed patching the new wood is well-matched and blended with the old, and Demetris also restored the contrasting stain on the stair risers where they had been damaged by the carpet installation. The results are absolutely spectacular! As we needed to stay in the house, Demetris was able to do the work in two phases with minimal inconvenience to us and it's impossible to see any overlaps in the finish. The cost was more than fair and customer service is A++ as Demetris is prompt, cheerful, honest, and happy to answer questions and offer options. We are 110% delighted and can (and do!) recommend Demetris to anyone.

Jamie and Al and their team replaced all the windows in our 100+ year-old home and did an amazing job. All window styles, hardware and interior trim were matched exactly to the original, but with thermal panes and newly-solid construction. Of special note, they: - re-created an operable over-size single-hung window, which other contractors wouldn't attempt - completely replaced a bay window with no damage to the surrounding plaster & lathe walls, which is practically impossible - restored and thermal-paned two stained-glass panels, in a fashion which looks original. We couldn't be happier with the results, and highly recommend Jamie and Al to anyone looking for a traditional or architectural solution... or just plain, old-fashioned, quality work.

A complete nightmare. Installation took nearly 17 months-- 526 days-- to complete, not including planning, design or construction. JUST installation. It's been an unmitigated disaster at every stage, from a designer unfamiliar with the product line, to repeatedly flawed orders and production, to a total lack of oversight and management engagement. In addition to having no functional kitchen for well longer than it normally takes to build an entire housing development-- we had no sink or countertops for TEN MONTHS-- the extended nature of this project incurred upwards of $7000 in additional costs. We finally signed off-- though the pantry doors barely open and the upper cabinet doors don't STAY open-- because, after six complete rebuilds, we can't face dealing with this incompetant, uncaring company. Not once did anyone take responsibility on this project, nor did management express regrets, or contact us in any way.

Rent-a-son helped us out on very short notice for a very reasonable price. Dispatch kept us updated on the schedule and the Sons were careful and efficient. Amazing service all the way along and done with a smile, too!
