Marek is a true master in his profession. If you need a tile job, Marek is the person to go to. We were very pleased with his work, and totally satisfied with the results, when he was tiling the floor in our laundry room. Marek came to the rescue after the previous contractor left us with a half finished disaster. Marek showed up when he said he will. The job was done in a timely manner, tidy and with attention to details. We highly recommend Marek, and definitely would consider him in the future to do tile work in our home again. John & Krystyna

We've employed "New Century Maids" cleaning services to clean our newly purchased 3 bedroom town home in Oakville after previous owner moved out and two weeks prior we were to physically move in. We agreed to pay $450 for their service. The agreement was for them to clean in the vacant house: with already empty kitchen and bathroom cabinets, counter tops, vacuum and wipe floors and baseboards (house has hardwood throughout, and newly installed carpet in two of the three bedrooms). The house of course was empty of furniture, area rugs, etc. After they finished the job and left, we discovered that they left dirt in almost every corner,on the main floor, visibly dirty baseboards, loose threads of carpets laying around in both bedrooms (where the carpets were freshly installed) and suppose to be vacuumed of the very threads. They folded though "Hotel style" ends of the toilet paper. I guess to demonstrate that they were doing something for the eight hours they were in our house supposedly "cleaning". After following up and intervention with the supervisor including pictures of the dirt, they reluctantly came to do a 30 minute touch up and clean the visible dirt that has been left behind. A week after we went to the still empty house to check things up before we moved in our furniture. We discovered more dirt in the areas that we overlooked and by the look of it were not even touched at the time of the first cleaning. Disgusted by the findings, boldness and dishonesty of the service we switch the conversation to emails and requested our money back. We've been then insulted with a statement that we want the cleaning for free. To resolve this with some degree of honesty on their part, and to prove that we are not after "free" cleaning we gave them an option to return the $450 we paid them for the job they didn't do. We then will donate the money to a charity under the "New Century Maids" and provide them with a receipt for tax purposes. We simply just do not want them to keep the undeserved money for obvious reasons. We never heard from them again. We assume they do not believe in giving money for free......! So if you expect a clean house after you paid for cleaning service and do not want to be insulted by the dishonesty of the service, do not employ "New Century Maids". Krystyna Popper,Oakville.

Very good price! Very professional service by the technicians. Covered up the areas where the hoses were going through the house. Protected the corners. After 5 years of use, the basement carpet came out looking new with no sign of any carpet compression from high wear areas. Great job!

Reasonably priced quote. Work done quickly. After a full winter since the work was done last summer, no issues with the new concrete floor put in. Would definitely recommend them for any future work.

Shortly after moving in to my residence, I was need of an electrician, and checked with another contractor in the area who gave me Mike's number. Mike was able to quckly drop by on the same day to fix my light switch problem that was not functioning in one of our bedrooms. The problem was difficult to identify, but he was able to successfully resolve the immediate problem. I then asked Mike to look into a number of other electrical issues with the house, since the house was previously renovated by a builder before our purchase. Mike and his assistant dropped by a week later on schedule and they did all the appropriate repairs and new wiring that I requested to our satisfaction. If you need an electrician in the Oakville area, then I can definitely recommend Bucci Eletric. They did all the work that I needed to have done, and the cost was very reasonable.

When looking for a mover, our Real Estate agent recommended Avery who had provided successful moves for other clients. After contacting Avery, they provided a quote that was reasonable. We decided to go with them, and we were very happy with the total move. They were professional in reviewing our needs and providing us with various quotes dependent on if we wish to package everything ourselves or have them do the work. On the day of the move, the 4 movers arrived on time, and they wrapped all of our furniture and moved all the items out very quickly. The owner, Stephen Millard, dropped by to check on how the move was progressing as well. On arrival, everything was successfully moved in, though we had some issues with a large sofa to go down the stairs to the family room, whereby we had some unavoidable damage. We were made aware of this prior to the item being moved of the issues with this piece. We did have one office chair that was damaged in the move, and the movers took to piece away for repair or replacement. Stephen personally dropped off the piece a week later nicely repaired. The 4 movers were extremely professional and were more than happy to place any piece of furniture in the places that we indicated. At the end of the move, all the moving supplies used were neatly repackaged in the truck, and cleaned up for the next move. This attention to detail definitely shows how important details are to the owner, the company and their employees. We were extremely happy with the overall moving services provided by Avery and would definitely recommend them.
