We started our journey to source our quartz kitchen countertop with Toronto Granite (recommended by a number of our family members) and after spending a few weeks researching others (doing our homework as this was a major purchase) we ended up coming back to where we started. Toronto Granite. A family run business with strong family values. We were welcomed from the very first visit. A warm, friendly, attentive staff. Not pushy but helpful. We had a very competitive quote; better than others (3-4 quotes) we researched. Within a few days of our accepting the quote they were at our place to measure. A few days later we had the install. Letter perfect. Exceptional care in installation. I would highly recommend Toronto Grantie for your kitchen countertop requirements. You will not be disappointed.

We were looking for a gift for our daughter's condo downtown and visited the West Elm in Liberty Village. Amazing store with great prices on the trendiest products. We found the one best suited for her decor and the folks there helped pack it up for our safe delivery. Great selection, quality and value.

We needed new stools to put around our kitchen island and after going to several stores we settled on a perfectly designed pair (red finish) that we were looking for. Great price and extremely good quality. We were never pushed but assisted by the customer service folks. All our questions were answered fully to help us make our decision. We have gone back time and time again for products at this location. Highly recommended.

We obtained a few quotes and had a few on-site visits prior to selecting the fine folks at Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning. Marnie and her team are excellent. Not only did she personally visit our house and review our needs she followed up with a very thorough quote and we had our furnace scheduled and installed by David and Craig within a week. Amazing work, clean and professional. Please make sure you have them quote on your next furnace needs; you will not be disappointed and like me you'll be recommending them here on HomeStars!

We had our annual cleaning and maintenance by Direct Energy and had some issues with the furnace this time through. They managed to get it going long enough to advise us that after 26 years we best start looking for a new one.

Dryer belt lasted 2 months to the day and THEN they tell me it's a problem with these belts. Instead of informing customers they choose to tell you this 'when' something happens. They also wanted another $130 more to come back and fix the same problem when I believe they should have done this for free. Had they told me that these belts are bad and don't last (by the way last one I got lasted over 5 years and Samsung OEM equipment denies these claims on my follow up) I would not have invested $265 in my 10 year old dryer. Ben the owner claims that "maybe" I wasn't told of this issue. Seriously Ben, who puts this amount of money in a an old machine IF you folks would advise them that this will likely last only 30 days. I am now having to likely throw this dryer out. First I will find a reputable service provider and one who values their customers and believes in them. I relied on the Homestars reviews for this company and have been very disappointed. I caution others to guide themselves and ask questions around warranties and service issues with service providers. Finding out after the fact is not only disappointing but costly. Be careful!!!! In reading Ben's response I see he claims to come back to our house (did not happen) as well as inform us of the belt issue 'prior' to spending $265. Also did not happen. If you need to resort to no truths then I have no time for further discussion.

As the owner of 24/7 Appliance repair I would like to personally respond to this review. We received a call from the homeowner at approximately 11:00pm Friday night telling our dispatch he had an emergency, when asked what the emergency was the homeowner said we had fixed his broken dryer belt 2 months earlier and he believed it was the same issue yet again. The homeowner insisted we come to his home immediately (11:00PM Friday) to do the repair. While we do provide a 24/7 service we do so only for emergencies, in this case it was not deemed an emergency. Come Monday morning I contacted Bradley (the homeowner) and told him I would come by personally to evaluate the situation, he then quickly started telling me this was our fault and that he doesn’t expect to have to pay for any further services we provide to fix it. It’s important to also note that upon repairing the belt the first time around the technician informed Bradley that this is a common problem with the Samsung product and the chances of it happening again are high. Now two and half months later, as we had informed him it happened again. Unwilling to accept that the problem is with the product (Samsung) not the repair Bradley has decided to place the blame on my organization and holding us personally responsible. 24/7 Appliance repair offers in my opinion some of the best service technicians in the GTA, proof of this is not only found in our many years of operations but also in the impeccable feedback found from other customers on Homestars. I encourage you to do your research as a consumer and base your opinion not on a single review but on the general consensus. I've been using their services for years now. We are never disappointed. our 23 year old furance is still ticking but can't last forever. we've reached out to them to price up a new one. Great work.

Once again we hired Charlie to replace the garage door of my son's house in Oakville. Great workmanship and on budget. A real showcase. You can't ask for better work and customer service. Highly recommended.

Charlie is the owner and does all the work for this great door services company. He is a real gentleman. Great customer service. Very friendly. He replaced my car and one half garage door and my side entrance door and completed all the trim work. Tremendous workmanship. I recommended him for my son and he replaced his door as well. Charlie asks what it is you'd like and recommends solutions within your price range. He is first class. You will not be disappointed.
