Dryer are vents are often over looked and if not serviced / cleaned regularly or comprised of the proper rigid metal ducting they can be a potential fire risk. Thank you Violet for the awesome review and comments. Yes, replacing the Mylar plastic semi rigid ducting to a metal transition is very important. First of all for safety the metal hosing provides prevention from fire risk and secondly it increases exiting air flow.

I'm happy that we were able to attend your residence and after conducting our diagnostic check and inspection determine what exactly the issues were with your dryer vent. Maintaining and having the dryer duct line cleaned regularly will extend the life of the dryer, save on utility costs and most importantly reduce the risk of a potential fire due to flammable lint being inside the dryer duct line.
