What an amazing job these guys did on replacing my old roof! Great pricing, professional and honest! They work long hours to get the job done in the time quoted and even repaired parts of the old roof under the shingles that was old and rotting. Also helped me choose the shingle colour to match our new windows and stone better than my designer did! We get so many compliments on how beautiful our new roof looks. I was shopping for a new roof for our home and have found HomeStars very helpful when finding the right people for the job. I phoned Serg from Home Star Roofing and he came from the GTA with in an hour to give me a quote. Serg is beyond honest and helpful... super easy to get ahold of and he will help you from A-Z with the selection process. I called at least eight different roofing companies, as my director always wants me to get at least 3 quotes for any job that we need done. My selection was mainly based on location of business and the ratings on Homestars. I spoke to Sergio of Home Star Roofing. Many of the companies I called were telling me it would take 2 or 3 business days just for someone to come out and give us a quote and some were booking up to 6 weeks from when I called. This job was critical that it be done sooner, rather than later, as it was causing damage to our interior walls and the upcoming weather forecast was calling for excessive amounts of rainfall. Sergio showed up to our office within the hour and hopped on the roof, in the rain, so that he was able to provide a quote. He took photos of the problem areas, took the time to explain the problems to me and also made some further recommendations to avoid any further roofing/leak problems. His quote was very reasonable. After presenting 3 quotes, my director made the decision to go with Sergio. Sergio kept in touch with me to schedule the best day for the work to be done - which was within a week of my call to him. He arrived in the early morning of the scheduled day. Because we are a business where we have children attending each day, for the safety of our clients, Sergio did a fantastic job of blocking off the work area and also did a great clean up afterwards!! The roof work was done very professionally and our leakage problems are gone. I would 100% recommend Sergio and his team for any roofing repairs you may need, very friendly, reasonable and professional. Thank you for making this easy for us!!

I am very happy to recommend Home Star Roofing if you are in need of repairing your roof. Sergio was able to come by on short notice to assess and repair our roof as the shingles had been blow off during a recent wind storm. Sergio from the outset was very professional and easy to deal with. He came on the day he said he would, had everything ready to go, and was efficient and friendly.

The price was very reasonable, and Sergio took very good care of our roof, even though it was a smaller job for him. It is in my experience, that people who go a little extra on smaller jobs will pay the same kind of attention to the details on the big jobs. Andrew and his team have done an excellent job installing our new roof last fall. This was the first time we had replaced our roof and we had no idea what to expect. The process was smooth and we are really happy with our new roof!

We love Andrew's son Serge - he did lots of extra work for us like cleaning attic windows and gutters for no charge at all, what a guy!

This past winter with the new roof was great with no issues whatsoever. Even more... in mid December I thought there was a roof leak inside my free standing garage. I called them once and at the came SAME DAY to investigate. They found nothing wrong with the roof but they added some extra sealer just in case. So I should admit it was a false alarm but I was very impressed with their professionalism and consideration.

I'm in Etobicoke, and I couldn't enter the winter with a roof that was on its last legs. I contacted 5 companies, but the only ones who actually responded to my questions and concerns properly were the Home Star guys. The quality of the work is outstanding. They also took the time to educate me about various roofing issues that the other companies didn't even mention, which helped me make informed choices. They replaced the roof, 2 skylights, and also installed proper venting both on the roof and at the soffits, which the previous owner had neglected to do. The whole thing took one day, and by the time they cleaned up at the end, you couldn't tell that this had been a busy work site just a few hours earlier. Highly recommended, I couldn't be happier.
