Contacted Integrity three years ago to assess the state of our roof after moving into a new home. They were one of four contractors we spoke with but stood out due to their nuanced and detailed analysis and no-pressure approach that had our best interests at heart (thanks Cory!). I knew we would hire them when ready to fix our roof so reached out to the next year to have a check-up and gutter clean, and then again the year after when small moisture bubbles began to appear on sections of our ceiling.

Ours was a big job that required two different roofing crews (one for the flat roof portion and the second for the sloped roof shingles). Turned out some of the base boards under our flat roof were rotting and there was little to shield against water getting into the insulation underneath and no fire barrier (the roof was a developer build and around 17 yrs old). They brought the roof up to code with our rep, Cory and project manager Qais, keeping us informed along the way and answering our many detailed questions. The roofing team worked diligently through a nasty heat wave and made sure the job site was watertight when leaving for the day (there was a cloudburst the first night after they left when the first layer was applied, but we had no leakage issues, which was reassuring).

There was a minor incident where one of the workers accidently stepped on a piece of rotting wood and punctured a small hole in our closet ceiling. But the company was quick to respond and repair the damaged dry wall at no additional cost. The contractor they sent to repair the ceiling also repainted and even did some other ceiling touch ups within a matter of days of the incident happening. The owner Shay also visited in person to check on the status of things and inspect the workmanship. He was clearly interested in making sure the job was done right.

Our rep Cory provided photos throughout the process to show the stages of work and what they were finding and kept in touch throughout the project. This followed many detailed discussions prior to the job starting based on my many questions, including what may be needed should the base boards need replacing and the option to improve insulation. Qais, the project manager, was also available throughout to answer questions and address my anxieties.

The final water test conducted after the repair was completed was the ultimate validation of Cory's expertise. For the first time in over 15 years, there was no sign of a leak. This test confirmed that the issue had been permanently resolved, providing me with an immense sense of relief and satisfaction. I can now confidently sell my home without the lingering worry of a persistent roof leak.

Integrity Roofing. New roof
New roof 2019. Completely rebuilt. New 3/4 plywood deck. Ice/water shield protection, underlayment (diamond deck)starter shingles and certanteed landmark pro shingles (50 year warranty labor and materials) transferable up to 10 years. 72 linear ft edge vent and 2 maxi vents. Moved stack and exhausted upstairs bathroom out through roof. 12-15 inches insulation. Extensive and challenging project on a large older home in the beaches which is a tricky spot to navigate equipment. Cory and his crew were on time, on budget, no surprises or complaints from neighbours. Professional work, respectful of property and neighbours. No lost shingles in high winds or bad weather. Fantastic company. Best decision ever. How do I know. Just had a home inspection completed. Guy gave product and workmanship top marks. Roof is now five years old, but from the photos he showed, it looks new. Would not hesitate to call Cory again. He was detailed and transparent. More time spent on right product choice and correcting venting, stack, rotten deck and bathroom exhaust, rather cheapest option. Integrity is an appropriate name. You never have to apologize for good quality. Thanks again guys!

As a result of repairs to my chimney, I learned that a raccoon had torn my roof shingle exposing bare wood on my roof. Shay from Integrity had never worked with me before but he responded to my call immediately and sent his team out to repair my roof within hours, on the Friday of the holiday weekend so it would be done before it rained!! His team was very efficient and professional and showed me pictures of what they had done before leaving. Would highly recommend and when I need a new roof, I will definitely be calling Shay at Integrity.

Beware: Unpleasant experience, misleading offers and poor service

They initially offered a verbal discount, which was later disputed and not honored in the final contract. Attributed this to miscommunication. With them, get every word in writing.

Project Management Issues: Lack of communication, project delays, poor scheduling (work done at night hours) and inadequate waste removal.

Quality Control Problems: The initial work was subpar, requiring additional repairs soon after completion.

Responsive, honest, friendly and on time. Fixed not only the roof damage I reported but also a few other cracks I didn't know about. Documented the before/after with pictures. A very refreshing and positive experience overall! Thank you!
