Awesome home inspector.
We booked on a really short notice, and he made everything possible to have the inspection performed in time.
Michael did a thorough inspection that took more than 3 hours.
An infrared inspection was also performed and included in the quoted price.
We were provided a timely 100+ pages report the next morning (~15 hours after the inspection).
Strongly recommend!

When I was trying to look for an inspector to inspect our new house, we went on google and 4sight came up and upon researching 4sight and other inspector on homestars. I felt 4sight was more inline with what I was looking for. On the day of the appointment Michael came on time and went through my house thoroughly and gave us a report of our house condition, which put us at peace that we didn't buy a crappy house. I needed a home inspector as early as next day. Had terrible experience in the past with home inspectors and was skeptical but needed one nevertheless. Took a gamble and booked 4Sight Inspections for Thursday Oct 15 2PM. First impression of Steve was good. He inspected the house in a methodological way. Starting with exterior, basement, main floor, 2nd floor, attic, roof and finish it with a thermal imaging scan. It took nearly 3 hours to complete the whole inspection. Very detailed work. This is my second time using home inspection from homestar and so far, this company is the best one. This company is a 2-person operation so you know they care about quality workmanship. The rate is reasonable for the amount of time and the quality of the report is amazing. My report is 79 pages long.

At first I was hesitant to book a home inspection considering the age of the house was less than 3 years. I'm glad I did after seeing how thorough the inspector was going through the house. Steve took the time to make sure nothing was overlooked and that my new home wouldn't come with any unexpected repairs. The infra-red scanner was pretty cool too! It was good to see that the home was well insulated. When I went through the report it made me feel even better about the purchase I has made. In my opinion it was well worth the cost ...even on a newer home.
