So I purchased a bunch of shutters from these guys, they did the all the windows except one window. I called and left messages with the sales rep and company repeatedly but they never call you back. I wish I looked at their Homestars reviews before signing up with them.

I don't recommend them. Even if they're cheap, it's not worth taking the risk.

Do yourself a favor and do not go with this company ignore the cheap price the quality of the blinds are terrible and the customer service is even worse stay clear of this company I had a very bad experience with them it has been 3 months and still my blinds are not been installed they use a company to answer the phones and they bounce you around and you can never get ahold of the actual employees they use third-party companies to manufacture their blinds and third-party installers to install them it's a terrible organization and I would not recommend them to anyone.

We purchased blinds for our home in May 2016 and within a matter of weeks, a few of our blinds broke. It stipulates on the back of their contract that there is a lifetime warranty with their products but it is absolutely worthless. I have called over 50 times, and each time, the receptionist bounces me around or gives excuses. I have left voice mail messages and written letters but they are in no way responding to my requests. They will take your money but will do no follow-up should you need them. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES.

Please DO NOT use this company. I've had 8 cancellations with the majority of them no shows and no calls. I've had to call them and when/if they responded, they had nothing but excuses. Diane in accounting came on the phone and said she was customer service. I found out she's just in accounting. She Was full of excuses and never came through. Dave is horrible. They measured 4! Times and all times blinds were wrong sizes. I have been waiting for 3 months to get these shutters installed to no avail! They refuse to allow me to speak to the boss saying that's what they are there for and that he doesn't have time!
The amount of work time I've lost is unbelievable and I can't take the stress any longer... They talk badly about each other to me every time I call! It's just ridiculous.

great at calling you back and installing but plan on getting no customer service at all, no return calls, when something needs repair. Customer service is CRAP!!!. had blinds installed Dec 2016 and it is now almost June 2017 placed over 10 phone calls and no one calls back to get a repair done. They dont mind taking your money. would never recommend to anyone which is too bad cause they have lost a lot of potential clients in my area

I booked my blinds from this company. On the day of measurements and quotation, the agent said the manufacturing and installation will take 3 weeks from the day of booking. It's now been 2 months and the installation is not finished. They rescheduled to complete the job but the installer never showed up. Now they are rescheduling for next week and I cannot be available all the time to cater their mistake.

Worst company to hire. They would schedule a time to come in and then not show up, wouldn't even call to let us know that they will not be coming in. I had to take a day off work 2 times to wait for them. DO NOT HIRE. My job is still not done because they couldn't measure properly the first time they came.

Please be aware that Vinyl-Tek Shutters subs out work to The Blind and Shutter Outlet. Where do I begin? The salesman, Dave (from Vinyl-Tek) damaged my hardwood floors during initial quote and constantly gave me false updates (i.e telling me the blinds were ready to be installed but were delayed due to lack of installer availability - this turned out to be completely UNTRUE as the installer confirmed they did not even begin production yet).

The installer (also) Dave (from The Blind and Shutter Outlet) took wrong measurements which resulted in needing to have the blinds "remade". There were 3 no-shows for installation appointments (my husband took these days off from work and we did not receive any type of heads up about cancellation/rescheduling).

All the negative reviews are true. This company is a nightmare to deal with (rude "customer service", never picking up/returning calls, etc). I was told the blinds would be manufactured and installed within 2-3 weeks.... this was 12 weeks ago. I highly regret going with this company. Their prices are the cheapest for a reason. It's not worth the time/hassle.
