My home had a furnace that was over 20 years old and indoor water cooled central air conditioning unit that was from the 1970s. I had several quotes and found Brian from Mandarin, had him come out and his quote was the best by far not only for new equipment but also for installation which included some significant work since the old AC unit had no lines running outside, so those all had to be done from scratch. The job was done in one day, and a year and a bit later, everything runs very well. What is most impressive is that Brian has responded to my questions and actually saved me a service call for a very simple issue I had recently. He told me to check something, I did, and I fixed a minor problem myself that most other companies would have charged me a service call to even discuss.

Really happy i found Mandarin Heating, Brian and his team are excellent. He has done four furnace jobs, one a/c, two humidifiers and one water tank for me and my family recently. Excellent work, on time and best of all excellent prices! Highly recommended.

Was looking for a deal through Kijiji....and found Mandarin Heating & Cooling giving a good deal. When I called Brian....he actually promised me a deal no other contractor in my area could even come near. Brian sent 2 of his guys out 75 km from his area (Yes....Peterborough)....that's where we live....no extra charge! They were professional and courteous. Excellent workmanship to detail and no problems so far. The best part was that his follow up was beyond measure....constant texts and updates. The rebate check came in this evening......and I just thought I'd write a few lines about these guys.

I bought my house 2 years ago and I was told the air conditioner and furnace are the original pieces from 20 years ago (when the house was built) so they may die anytime. The air conditioner lasted me two more summers and this year the compressor failed on it. I contacted a few companies but their prices were through the roof compared to what Brian at Mandarin Heating and Cooling was offering me. At the beginning I was a bit skeptical since I found Brian's company on Kijiji but after checking the reviews on HomeStars I was convinced to purchase both the air conditioner and the furnace through them. Brian is a gentleman, a very nice and humble person. He came to my house to look at the work effort that would be required from his team. 2 days later two of his team members came and installed the new equipment. I'm really impressed with Brian and his company not only because of the lowest price for the equipment but also because they did a fantastic job and worked throughout the rainy day outside. I would definitely recommend Brian and his company to others.

After waiting for months and Quotes from several companies, I decided on Mandarin Heating & Cooling. They had the best deal on their pricing of 2 ton air conditioner with installation. The job was completed quickly and at the cost that it was quoted. Thank you very much.

Brian came in to check my AC issue and found out that my AC needs to be replaced since it is not working properly. He gave me a proposal which is very competitive and reasonable. A week later they arrive to install the new AC and they were very clean and organized. So far the AC works fine and hoping it will beat the upcoming heat of the summer.

Had Brian come by and provide a quote for our heating/cooling equipment. They were by far the cheapest cost. I was hesitant because of this (normally drop the top and bottom quotes) but we were planning to sell soon and didn't want to pay a premium.

Brian and his team (3 in total) came on schedule and completed the work within a day. I though their work looked good (ie neat, pipes properly secured, etc..) I didn't have any issues with the equipment.

One of my friends was also looking for a HVAC change. He came by to see the work Brian did and was satisfied to ask for a quote. He too was impress by the price. Afterwards, he said that he was pleased and didn't have any issues.

We just had Brian and his guys replace our furnace, AC and water tank and they were fantastic! Everyone worked hard, and they worked a long day to get it all done in one day for us! And the work is clean and well done. They were very polite, and Brian was great in always getting back to us promptly. And you can't beat their price!! We would highly recommend them to anybody!!
