Brian is a very professional, polite and efficient expert in his field. He works quickly and answers all questions and concerns with patience and candour. Brian made expert suggestions on how to best address my heating problem yet was never pushy. His work looked perfect and he left the area cleaner than when he began. On top of everything else, his prices could not be beat. I really don't know how he does it! Brian is also very helpful and understanding. When I later lost my invoice and needed it quickly, Brian had a copy to me within the hour. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, any time. He is simply the best.

I purchased a full HVAC system including Furnace, AC and Hot water tank to replace the aging system in my 80 year old home. Brian provided a quote that was very competitive and he seemed professional, courteous and competent so I decided to go with Mandarin. Brian and his crew showed up on time for both the initial inspection and install. This said a lot as we had three other companies come in to quote on the job and all showed up late.
Brian removed my old equipment and began installing the furnace in November 2011, which was a very cold day. They encountered some issues when installing the furnace (being an old home) but Brian stayed well into the evening to ensure my family had heat. He came first thing the next day to install the AC unit, replace the hot water tank and the rest of the equipment. When they finished the job, it was a very clean and professional installation. They removed all the old equipment and when they left, the work site was cleaner then when they arrived. They left no trace that such extensive work took place.
Since the installation, I had some questions and a couple of small issues. Every time I called Brian, he returned my call immediately and took care of everything quickly and effectively. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy and provided excellent service. On one occasion when he had to show up to make an adjustment, he removed his shoes and knocked instead of ringing the doorbell, knowing we had two young children. To me, it's those little differences that set many trades professionals apart. We have had several trades come through our home and few have been as courteous and professional as Brian.
All in all we are thrilled with the work and the customer service we were provided. I highly recommend Mandarin Heating and Cooling for any HVAC work.

Brian replaced furnace for my house last year. Since then it has been running soomth. He is a nice person and very professional. I am very satifified with his service. I would highly recommand him to anybody -actually I already did to a a few people that I know.

We have never put in a review for any company before, but Brian Zhong and his crew were exceptional. Our furnace broke down early this a.m. and we needed it fixed fast. After calling around to other companies who told us it would be at least a day until they could service it, we were quite frustrated. When we called Brian, however, he said he'd have it fixed by the end of the day and it was fixed at a fraction of the cost. Amazing service, good clean up and reliable.

Before I called Brian I already had several quotes, but when Brian came to our house for an estimate I was certain that we wanted Brian to do the work and we stopped calling around. Nothing fancy to boast, Brain just game me the feeling that he had the knowledge, the qualifications and the experience to do the work well. He has a postgraduate degree from one of the best universities, and he is a licensed technician. Unlike many other people who try to sell as much as they can, Brian understood our needs. Even though he was very busy, he took the time to communicate with me via emails to make sure everything was ok before the installation. He also made arrangement for our free attic insulation work which was really not part of his job, so that every work was done in one busy day. Before the installation, there was a little surprise. But Brian absorbed the extra cost himself, so what we got in the end was added value to our already attractive deal. His company is lean, there is no extra admin costs and he can pass the savings to his clients. On the installation day, he and his team came at the time he said he would, our floor was well protected, and everything was cleaned up throughly when the work was completed. We are very happy with Brian and his team. They are knowlegable, skillful, responsible, trustworthy and at the same time they save us money. We highly recommend Mandarin Heating & Cooling. Brian and his staff were incredible. Very courteous, knowledgable , caring and really enthusiastic about what they were doing. Just a great experience to deal with. Right from when the drop cloths were put down to the very end when Brian explained how everything worked and made sure l could contact him with any questions or concerns. Brian did a great job, the quote was very attractive and the service was quick and excellent. He took the time to go over how the free thermostat works and he installed a special filter drawer for the furnace, free of charge. They covered our carpets and removed all packaging and the old furnace.

I received a few quotes for upgrading to a high eff furnace as well as moving furnace location, re-running duct work (to maximize basement headroom) and moving the gas line.

Brian showed up to estimate the Job at 10pm at night after a long day and provided a very fair quote. Anyone that works that hard gets my business.

I called Brian and made arrangement to replace the Furnace. He has explained all the pros and cons. The next day, he went to Niagara Falls and changed the old (22 years old) furnace with Goodman High efficiency with Dual stage furnace. Also he did some additional duct work with his own time and expenses. After the installation finished he came to my home and got the money. The Furnace he installed has 10 year parts and the Labor warranty. Now I have peace of mind. He is very professional, I highly recommend Brian Zhong for Heating and cooling work at your home.
