Sometime in June I had a nice girl claiming to be a student come around to our door step and offer driveway sealing. We signed up because the presentation was good and the operation seemed legitimate.
What we got in August was anything but. Two teenagers showed up pushing around a primitive heavy cart on castors which contained a pump and tank full of tar. They seemed rather energized because they said they had nothing else lined up for the day and spent the last 8 hours wandering around the neighborhood trying to sell someone on their service.
Briefly, they did not address the cracks as promised, used a low grade of tar which washed off with the first rains in October and the sprayed both our white garage door and my wife's Mercedes. Not only that but their "service" was at least 2x as expensive as the local guy who does it seasonally, and the company would not respond to my claims.
