Spring Masters Canada - No Longer In Business

Complaint for home driveway asphalt sealing work against Spring Master - 20110829

First I met a sales person around may 2011 noon at my home who inspected my driveway and quote for $175.00 I said to please come at around 6pm as I shall discuss with wife and tell them final, but he didn't show up.
I phoned them based on their submitted flyer and dropped voice message for the Job. After few days I got a call, She did quote for the job at $295.00 said she saw thru goggle map some cracks/small potholes need to repair and to seal. I agreed and she took my credit card details for payment. To my surprise they charged the amount without doing job on June 26,2011. However later they phoned me to do the job. I told them to hold till August 7 as I have some landscaping/interlocking job scheduled and after that I will call.
By end July some one from Spring Master knocked my door and wanted to do the job. I showed him the spots to be repaired before sealing. He said it will be ok, we will do it nicely. Later I noticed he left with coating only and I was not contacted. I phoned their Toronto office on the same instant and told the lady of this job performed in a non-professional manner. She said to tell them after 2 days and I did so .On the other side they did similar job at my next door neighbour's similar size driveway at price of $175.00!!
The lady said they will see to it as they don't do repair for such job. But they took my money a month before. Later they agreed to do it July 13 or 14 but due to rain they didn't. They told me to open my driveway and ask them how long-they said some one on 8/20 or 21 will come. I was ready. On 8/18-19 my landscaping work was in progress and on morning I phoned and dropped message to come on Sat.8/20/11 due to interlocking work the day before. When I phoned them on Sat. morning they said some one came on Friday and due to construction work they left and will not do it any more; but they didn't contact me or my contractor who I told that if they come show them the spot for re-work. Afterwards with repeated arguments they refused ill mannered way with me and later with my daughter. She is an architect by profession and had bad impression with
Spring Master and the lady at desk/phone named Christia or Octivia who had no manners how to talk. They just know how to talk one sided way and looks to us they had shed the blame on us for not to re-do the job.
