A Silva's Roofing & Siding

Great family roofing company. John and Rose are a great team. John personally estimates and supervises each job and works with his crew. Rose is outstanding and personally responds to any questions or follow ups. I highly recommend them for any roofing needs.

Silva's Roofing team performed a very clean and quick job. They started when we left for work in the morning and by the time we were back home in the evening the job was already complete and cleaned up. No stray nails or old shingles on the garage pad. They provide a good warranty on the work as well.

They had excellent punctuality and provided everything they committed to on the qoute. They finished exactly on time and were very dilligent in cleaning the property when th job was completed. They also made sure to be availble if I needed help or had questions.

It took a week to obtain an appointment for the estimate. The contract was signed and a deposit was issued. It took four weeks before the job could be scheduled. Only 24 hours noticed was provided.

The good point= they use a truck mounted bin for waste material. This prevented potential damage from the bin scraping the driveway.

Negative - Shingles, flashing and nails were found in both my front and back yards as well as my neighbour's yard and driveway. Post examination of the roof revealed exposed nails and bent shingles. The company did the repairs within the week. Clean up was poor. One of the workers complained about his work all day.

My husband and I were checking out the roofing going on in our neighbourhood because we needed our roof done. We watched the crew doing the work to our neighbours' roof two houses away. He has a roof as high as ours (2 1/2 storey Victorian).

We decided to get an estimate from this company after we spoke with our neighbour.

I was expecting to get just an estimate on a form type page like the other estimates that we had gotten but not with Silva's.

They provided us with a very professional package of information along with the estimate, which provided the answers to many of our questions right up front without us having to ask.

It's like they anticipated our needs before we knew we had them.

The price was reasonable and we gave them the go-ahead. The crew arrived on time and proceeded to cover my garden areas so the desbris from the roof wouldn't get into them.

After removing the shingles, it was determined that we needed plywood put down and it was ordered right away. It arrived quickly and there wasn't any delay at all.

They cleaned up all the shingles and nails that were laying around and took the tarps up from the garden areas. Then they went over the area with a magnet to find any loose nails.

I was very surprised when I received a hand-signed card from John and Rose in the mail thanking us for our business. This was absolutely wonderful and just goes to show that this company REALLY cares about their customers.

I definitely recommend Silva's Roofing & Siding. Doing business with this company is a total pleasure.

They gave us a reasonable quote. The job was all done in one day. They cleaned up all the clutter. The roof looks great. Very happy with it so far. Thank you.

Hardworking couple. Efficient workers. AMAZING crew of 12 individuals. Started working at 8am and were finished a large job by 3pm. Cleaned everything up after themselves. They used magnetic rollers all over the place to pick everything up afterwards. Very happy customers!

New roof, called and they came. Very nice contractor to deal with. Roof was fixed in no time. Called another company to inspect the work, they work passed expectations. Very nice
