Josh and Erik did a great job repairing our rotting fascia and drooping gutter. The work was done quickly and of high quality. Now I no longer have to fear critters getting into my attic. They are both very professional and I highly recommend them.

Worked with Erik and MeinHaus for a full ~1400sq ft basement renovation. Started with an unfinished basement right down to the studs, goal of creating a solid apartment living space including bathroom, kitchen, office, living room and bedroom. Communication with Erik was always great - he will always answer promptly and works with you to complete any requests/changes (even the silly ones!)

Outline of project was also very clear from the start, and Erik managed all the different organization needed to get the project up to code, and done the way we envisioned. I would absolutely recommend MeinHaus to anyone looking to finish any home project

Erik was an amazing contractor. Very responsive and completed the job on time. In fact, came back a second time for touch ups as promised. Would recommend to anyone.

I hired Mein Haus to finish up the removal of the tile in my kitchen and entrance way (40sq ft; my friend did a bunch already), install the vinyl for 306 sq ft and re-staining my 157 sq ft bedroom. Steve sent me an estimate (2745 incl. tax) without having anyone view my space and relied solely on my calculations of st ft. As you can imagine, this did not end well. The demo ended up costing $450 (after tax) more than the estimate despite me expressing my concern about not having anyone determine the actual scope of the work (my estimates were clearly wrong as I have no idea what I'm doing, which is fine but if I had known it was going to end up being that expensive, it would have changed my game plan). Steve assured me it wouldn't be an issue. The vinyl installation turned out to be BEAUTIFUL though, the job was done fast and I'm very happy with the end result (except the re-staining which had many flaws). HOWEVER, after I paid and was told to tell him about any touch up (many
are needed for the re-staining), I was told it's just the colour of the wood (it's not in my opinion) and haven't back from Steve on when they will do the touch ups and come back to finish the incomplete work (they did not put the shoe molding back on in the bedroom).

To summarize:
Pros: adjusted the deposit to a lessor amount; job commenced/ended fast; vinyl install looks great; communicative up until paid

Cons: did not toss trash; vinyl installers were a bit careless in laying the cement (had to clean up on cupboards); CHARGED MORE THAN ESTIMATE; re-staining issues; job partially incomplete; GHOSTED

I used HomeStars to select Erik from MeinHaus to paint almost the entire interior of my house. Erik was great throughout the entire process! From the moment I selected him, to leading me through next steps, I always knew I made the right decision selecting him.

Then came the week of painting. The painter was friendly, knowledgeable, hard working, and reassuring. She did an IMPECCABLE job! I'd have her back to paint in a heart beat!

First time using HomeStars and we hired Erik from Meinhaus for our renovation. We needed to get some old Stucco removed and prepped for California/Knockdown texture and it wasn't coming off very nice so we hired them to Flatten approx. 400 square feet of Ceiling bedrooms/hallway which needed to be skim coat plastered, primed and painted. They sent out Jeremy who did that for us and he did an excellent job. Will defiantly hire again if we need more work done.

Several laminate planks had lifted. We thought it was a simple fix. Naturally it was more serious. The guys were fantastic. Work was completed next day. Looks fabulous. Would recommend you to everyone. Thanks for all your hard work.
