I was very happy with the result of building with Morrison. The house is fantastic and Morrison was very quick on fixing any minor imperfections. The sales team was very helpful and spent a lot of time with us going over a number of options to customize the house to our needs. The only area that needs improvement is the Selection Studio process, which was painful at times. Overall, we were very satisfied working with Morrison Homes.

Great sales people, horrible service after everything has been signed off on. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Warranty Coordinator talks down to you in a condensending tone, infering we are the issue with the house, and that we are causing issues such as cracks in foundation, windows getting spaces in between themselves, support beams shifting, and my favourite completely frozen over windows in the winter (humidifier is off, Main Furance fan runs an hour a day, and blind are left open 8 inches) I would never buy another home with MH.

Fantastic company to build with. They went above and beyond my expectations to ensure the family got what we needed. I was kept in the loop every step of the way and all my questions were answered in a timely manner. Issues did arise but were quickly dealt with. When our microwave was on back order for a month after we moved in Morrison supplied us with a loner. They didn't have to but they did anyway.

A year and a bit ago, we didn’t plan on building again. We were content where we were at and enjoying life. But one Sunday, we went to the Auburn Bay Estate Show homes and fell in love with Morrison's VISTA.

Appointments were starting to be planned! Being this was our 3rd house building, we knew what we wanted. Morrison’s team was very helpful in so many ways. They had ideas and led us in the right direction.

Building a home with Morrison was easy. The procedures were very well structured. No pressure at all.

Our Liaison was always on the ball if we had any concerns. Our Interior rep was superb! Great eye and ideas for what we’re looking for.

14 months later, we stepped into our new Morrison Estate Home.

Craftsmanship was incredible. Site supervisor was very enjoyable and easy to talk too.

We have been in the house for almost a month and starting to feel like home.

Morrison Homes is the best homebuilding company I have come across. I spent months doing my research and found that not only has Morrison Homes lived up to its reputation as an amazing company. Not only did my fiancé and I get an amazing first home but we just took possession of our second home built by Morrison. The sales staff in the show homes were great, always welcoming and offering assistance when needed, the construction staff always found time to answer our questions about how this or that was done and always got back to us in a reasonable amount of time. The selection studio staff was great, they helped us get our ideas from our heads to reality and made it look amazing!
I couldn't have built with a better company and I will continue to build with them!

We built with Morrison Homes a year ago in February. We were happy with the company from the moment we signed our papers to the moment we moved in. A year later we have had no real issues with our home and the tiny things that did come up were remedied right away. The service team has also been fantastic.
If we decide to purchase new again for our next home it will most certainly be with Morrison Homes.

This company used to be a very good builder - 12 years ago. They are nothing but rip off artists now. Quality of workmanship and customer service is terrible. Building an estate home we thought they would be reliable, but the process has been full of overcharges, hidden charges (only some of which we have caught so far) and trying to pass the costs of their mistakes on to us. For the money you will spend on your home (starter to estate) do yourself a favor and find another builder. I will never recommend Morrison to anyone.

If you are building an estate home and want changes to an existing plan or a lot of custom work done, choose another builder.

I am currently in the process of building a home in Calgary with Morrison and unfortunately have been disappointed with the process so far. We sign a contact in the spring and wrote the first cheque and was told the second cheque would need to be cashed when the dry walling began which would be at the end of October. We post dated a cheque with the assumption that it would be cashed when dry walling began. Nope, they cashed it and it's almost the end of January now and only the basement has been poured. As far as building timeline given at signing we will moving in 5 months past that date. That being said, that is not a big concern with me, I can live with this. What bothers me is the lack of organization, over charges, and blatant screw ups. We have had prices that were given over the phone as the price we would be charged but when we received the change order had increased by $400! I know that this might not be a lot for some and in comparison for what we are spending on our home in total it is only a small part. But try looking at it as I do, like that is a car payment or a large chunk of a mortgage payment. We have found several charges that were added to our home that were"mistakes" and we were made to feel that the error was not because of their lack of attention to detail but due to us!
In the beginning we asked them to if they could do a built in wall unit within our budget and the answer was yes. A wall needed to extended out for it and instead of designing the unit and determining the size of extension needed they extended the wall with the intent of designing it after. I was told don't worry it will turn out wonderful! What a laugh they came in at double my budget! Now I have no choice but to pay.
Building a home should be a wonderful and uplifting time, not one where you can't trust your builder. The only good thing I've encountered is the electrical company they use. They truly understand their trade and go above and beyond to make sure you don't miss anything. I wish Morrison would take a couple lessons from them.

I have purchased Morrison homes spec home in Edmonton (Walker Summit) area in 2013 and got possession in Sept 2013.

After 1.5 years of purchasing house, my shingle on the roof is ripped off. Morrison homes Manager is nice, he listened the problem and get it fixed. Also I had plumbing issue in Kitchen Sink strainer water leaking, he also get it fixed. Overall Morrison homes warranty department is good. Their warranty person always spent time to explain the problem and fix it whatever we asked.
