Very poor quality of work,way over priced for what you get. They use 10 time builder of the year as a marketing scheme when the award has nothing to do with their work they are basically bought.
They try and mask the problem and have trades that come in that have NO clue on what they are doing!!!
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

My husband, Nick and I are currently building a move up home in Nolan Hill with Morrison Homes and are weeks away from our possession date. Morrison Homes has made building our first home a very exciting and stress-free experience. They have been very transparent throughout the building process. They are very flexible as to when we are able to swing by and take a look at the house both inside and out which was very important to both Nick and myself. With the last couple of weeks being very close to possession we have put some of their staff though the gauntlet regarding some last minute requests. First, Amy S. at the selection studio managed to add a High Voltage plug to our garage even after all the electrical/drywall was complete at a price that was well below what I was expecting, then members of the Sales team managed to accommodate our request to have our possession date moved ahead so Nick could make an important short notice business trip. By accommodating our request on such short notice it really makes it seem like someone at Morrison has an "easy button" somewhere - we really appreciated them going the extra mile! I would not hesitate at all to recommend Morrison Homes to others in the market seeking a home builder. I believe that Morrison Homes builds quality homes because they employ a high caliber, quality group of people who in return believe in quality work and a quality product - that's what gets this company Builder of the year 10 years in a row and at the top of the pile on J.D. Power market survey.

We built a new home with Morrison Homes in Nolan Hill and it was indeed an awesome experience to work with friendly and professional team. They helped us pick the best choice without compromising the quality and our financial budget. The calendar of activities were clearly outlined and they were almost 100% on time. I definitely recommend Morrison to my friends given the fact that it has been a smooth transaction and those folks are just so kind and helpful.

I built a new house with Morrison Homes and found it to be a very easy and enjoyable process. This was my first home buying experience and their sales staff made it very easy for me. The timeline for completion that was provided was met perfectly and the quality of the workmanship is fantastic. I have since recommended them to friends of mine who also built a new home with Morrison also. I plan to build a new home with Morrison in the future.

We built a starter rental home in Cranston with Morrison Homes / Discovery Homes. We have a wonderful time building with them. Although the first lady we dealt well gave us wrong information. The area manager at the time rectify everything for us and made the wrongs right. From that time on we were dealing with him and everything was smooth sailing. They gave us weekly updates and were very accommodating with our possession date.

We don't know how this builder wins those awards. We had so much problems with our new house. The sales manager was rude and charged us way more money then the house was worth it. We realized that every item we got through them was overpriced. They misleads us with the steps and procedures and tricked us during the change orders. After completion we spent 2 years having trades coming over and fixing the house. At one point we had to move away for a week to the hotel as there was too much duct and noise in the house. We had problems with: plumbing and had to replace pipes and then walls and ceiling was damaged, kitchen cabinets, the walls are crooked, the windows are crooked, the driveway was replaced, the floors were redone, the tiles were changed, the bathtub air-jets were faulty, paint, heating,cracks in the walls and ceiling, front door had to be replaced, too many things went wrong and at the end we didn't get everything completed as we run out of the warranty time !!!

We built a starter rental home in Auburn Bay with Morrison Homes / Discovery Homes and having built with several other builders in the past we noticed that Morrison definitely had the most impressive, streamlined, and transparent processes we have seen. It is no wonder that they have been awarded the builder of the year in Calgary over the past 10 years.
