I wanted to have an old family rocking chair restored that has been sitting in a basement for decades. After being snubbed by a few other 'furniture experts' in Calgary, one even so arrogant as to suggest I was wasting his time and should put it in a dumpster, it hit me to return to my childhood neighbourhood where Irvine Interiors has been forever. They realized the worth in this chair overall and to me. Quoted price, timeline, overall project was bang on. Made some excellent suggestions and I was involved in every aspect of the process. Couldn't be happier, easily recommend Irvine Interiors.

This service was expensive, and I did not feel listened to; the fellow repeatedly denied my repair request, claiming it did not need repair. I admit that antique chairs used, will eventually falter. When seated, you sank to one side, sinking down quite low. Primarily, this is the reason we brought the chairs in. Upon pick up, we found the chairs remained with the main problem. Bringing up the matter yet again, he denied the chairs had any fault. Believe me that as I grew up with them, they did not sink as low as they currently do. Recently, I have discovered the upholstery not properly attached to the structure on one of the chairs. I am so disappointed, and in no way will I recommend Irvine Interiors Ltd. to anyone.
