The owner personally came over to give me suggestions on putting shelving into our small bedroom closet to make it the most efficient space possible. He measured and gave a quote on the spot. He also looked at our bathroom where I desperately needed drawers and had several contractors over before him - they all said it would cost a fortune to have "custom" drawers made. He took a look at it and knew he could do it - he also gave a very reasonable quote for that on the spot. We of course went through with the work and the man that came in to do the installation was amazing - he was quick and efficient and we have never been happier. We plan to have our son's room done next and a few other spaces in the house.

Debbie Miller at Newcastle Home Decor has been so helpful every time I've been into her store. About 6 months ago, I decided to give our bedroom a facelift but have no experience with decor. She helped me pick out a wallpaper that was really different, but within my taste - and gave me suggestions about how to do the walls - one wall with paper and the rest with the paint. Again, she helped me pick out the paint colour to work with the palette of the room...a highly recommended store to go to.

The service we received when purchasing a new home from Kaitlin Group was fantastic, but after we purchased, the service was horrible. We had a number of problems wrong with our new home, and the contractors that were sent over to repair were very sloppy and in most cases made the problem even worse. We had to then get someone else in to fix what the contractor had done. So, in one sense - we had a good experience when purchasing the home, but a horrible experience once we were in the house. After 3 years, most of the problems have been resolved, but only because we have had to persistently complain to them.

We needed to buy entirely new lighting for the exterior and part of the interior for our home. The service at Lando was excellent. They were very helpful, friendly and courteous. They didn't hover over us, but they were there when we asked for help. I'd recommend them to anyone.

John was extremely pleasant and very helpful when it came to deciding what we wanted to do with our front entrance. He also installed a custom stained glass above our sliding glass doors that looks beautiful. We plan on having him back for our upstairs balcony door because he did such a wonderful job!
