I moved to Markham recently and needed help installing 5 light fixtures and a smart thermostat to modernize the house. I filtered through more than 5 contractors and am very happy I went with Aaran. I sense he’s just a great human being who does trustworthy work. I respect this and will be calling him up for any future work in the house. I’m glad I found the right person who I can work with long term.

I contacted a bunch of companies and this one just stood out on the first phone call quote, I just sensed a genuine business from the convo. The duct cleaning was done flawlessly for my parents' house in North York. Mats were laid, proper tape used that doesn't rip paint off, it was a careful and clean job. The property was treated with respect. I have a house in Ajax too and the last time I found a company to do duct cleaning there I remember the team was less careful and there was a lot of shady upsells after they arrived. Can Do was transparent from the beginning and true to their word.

This company does a lot of commercials but don't be fooled by their greed. I've never seen a business that operates at this size and is this shady. I'm writing this review to help other home owners. I'm close to suing this company. Please read closely to avoid being tricked by them. We have a water heater from reliance and it was time to service it for maintenance. The technician came and serviced it, seemed nice and all, and mentioned they started a new business with pluming insurance and said if I was interested he could provide a brochure and info. I said sure send me some info. A couple weeks later we receive a bill for this pluming service. We were confused. Neither my wife nor I signed up to this, no one even remotely agreed, no signature. How is it possible and legal that a service is added to an account without documentation and signature? This company should be ashamed for the greed demonstrated by this type of business practice allowed. Even if it's a human error (which they did not admit), their systems allowed it without signature or any type of home owner agreement. Do you know what this means? This means they can charge you extra any time. Professional systems have guardrails to prevent companies from doing this even if they wanted to. This isn't the worst, the worst part is after calling into customer service, instead of trying to help me, they were aggressively pushing us to buy an AC, after I tried to get the conversation back to resolving this illegal charge and plan being added, they actually booked an appointment without consent. This is illegal. I'll be writing a report to BBB (Better Business Bureau) as well. I had actually on that very call tell the rep to cancel that appointment that I did not make! lol it's getting ridiculous. Then she transfers me to the billing department to deal with this illegally added plan and get this, the rep showed extreme desire to not do anything about this and made up excuse after excuse that made no sense. Now they suggest me and my wife both call in at the same time and even then they did not guarantee it was going to be removed upon our request and the illegally added charge (already charged) refunded. Stay far far away. They do a lot of commercials but don't be fooled by their greed. I've never seen a business that operates at this size and is this shady.

I had over 7 companies come assess our situation and Rob was the most trustworthy. The work he did was extremely diligent and he always put our best interest first to do the right thing for a fair price. I noticed this on several examples throughout the job. We had a super stressful situation where my pregnant wife is less than 20 days away from delivering and we experienced a very serious kitchen pipe crack and leak that caused mold and rotting of subfloor and wooden beams all the way from the main floor to basement. Rob paired up with the mold removal team as the restoration contractor specialist after the mold was removed. He was there since the beginning even before his job started to properly assess and plan it out with the mold removal team. Because of the position of the leak (behind upstairs kitchen wall, not visible), the rotting was very serious and required the main floor kitchen and basement kitchen be removed, walls removed from kitchen upstairs and basement, ceiling in basement removed, joists removed, and support beams reenforced, then everything patched up, dry wall, paint, lighting, covers etc, and kitchen reattached. Although the basement work was pretty intense, Rob was experienced enough to not overcomplicate the upstairs kitchen work. He always did what was safe and effective, did not blow up the work to crazy proportions like some other folks who came in. I'm really glad we found Rob! If you're looking for someone who will truly care about what's best for you as the homeowner, and someone who doesn't cut corners or make excuses, is trustworthy and follows through, call up Rob.

We had a crazy stressful situation because my pregnant wife is less than a month away from delivering when I discovered a pipe behind the upstairs kitchen wall cracked. I noticed this because there was a line forming in the ceiling of the finished basement below. The previous home owner never discovered it so it completely destroyed the subfloor and several wood beams and drywall upstairs and downstairs, covered in dangerous toxic mold as you can see in the pic attached. If this continued, the upstairs kitchen floor wouldn’t even be safe to walk on. After getting a plumber to fix the leak, I contacted over 10 companies and had 7 of them come to do an assessment for mold removal and restoration upstairs and downstairs since I have no idea what to do. Jason from Greenlife was not only the fastest to respond but did it with top tier professionalism and genuine care. You know when you can sense a contractor truly cares or not. It's 100% clear Greenlife's company culture is founded on truly caring about customers first, adding massive value. Even though other companies who came to assess were very professional as well, literally every one of them was looking at our situation as an opportunity to make money first, I can easily sense this. You do not ever want to just go with a company just because of their professionalism, that can easily be trained. You can never train genuine care, which is what’s going to matter in the end for homeowners getting quality work for a fair price. I can tell Greenlife is in it for the long game because they always had our best interest in mind first so the quality of work was extremely high for a great price. Every member of the team I spoke with just had a naturally positive good vibe, genuinely polite, and constantly thinking about how to make our lives easier. Their attention to detail to make sure everything was contained, fully treated, walls, floors, furniture, and other surfaces were not damaged was incredible. After their mold removal job was complete they took the time to help protect our furniture in the upstairs kitchen for the restoration contractors who we had to bring in after mold removal. Another reason why I’m writing this review is that not only was Jason and team clearly the best choice for mold removal, the restoration contractor they work with, Rob, was also on a different level than the rest of the restoration companies that came in to assess. Everyone can be professional and experienced, but again Rob literally shared the same traits I love about Jason and team, he always had our best interest in mind. During the restoration, even though Jason and team’s mold removal was complete, they were still very responsible and responsive when we had to clarify something during the final restoration part. I wish every contractor was like this. I’ve dealt with many very professional contractors, but never someone who cares as if they’re family or friends. That’s why I’m writing this review because people deserve to know. If anyone ever has a mold problem, go with Greenlife and I’m 100% sure you’d be in good hands I already spent the time to compare so many companies for this crazy situation of ours. I didn't realize how harmful mold was to air quality and health until I dealt with all this. For any homeowner with a mold problem, just save yourself time and money and call up Greenlife.

Wow Jonathan, thank you so much for that HUGE recommendation.

You know, as time goes by and reviews build up, more and more we realize that our commitment to customer service and our dedication is not just to our current customers but to everyone who took the chance before our reputation was that much stronger before 'they' left their own review.

Everyone who has left a review or referred another client has some form of investment now in our company. The return is that good feeling you get from knowing you referred something of great quality and value. Or that feeling after hearing how great of job we did on a referral 'you' made. The worst feeling is referring someone and they end up disappointing and falling short of their promise.

We owe it to our stakeholders such as yourself to not let you down like that. With every new review, good or bad, we re-commit and try to make our customer service better and stronger.

Thank you again Jonathan, reviews like this make it easier to renew our commitment and definitely puts a smile on our faces.
