We replaced some windows at our house, and wanted to re-install the same shutters we had, but they did not match the size of some of the windows exactly. Also, the shutters were 20 years old and needed a layer of paint. The process was painless, and the result were shutters that look brand new. Thanks!

This is the second time we hired the Window and Door specialist, this time to install a new front door, some of the windows and a new patio door. The installers did a great job installing everything, no complains (Thanks Tito!). Only two things did not go completely to plan: 1) the handles for some of the windows were of the wrong type from what we had ordered, but Tommy from the office quickly opened a support case with the window manufacturer to get this sorted out and I have been in contact with them to proceed with the replacement (this has not been done yet); and 2) I never realized that the installers would not re-install the alarm sensor when replacing the front door, so had to get this done afterwards (luckily the basement is not finished below the door, so passing the new cable was not an issue). I would hire them again.

I hired Phillip from KDS based on a recommendation from a friend that had done a similar job a while back. The job was to remove the popcorn finish from the ceiling of my living room and dining room. He came to my house soon after i contacted him and provided a well priced quote, and gave me all of the explanations on how the job would get done and what he recommended me to do to prepare the house for the messy task. Him and his crew started the work on the date and time planned, did everything as he had planned, and always kept me up to date on the progress. They finished when they told me the job would get done, and the ceiling looks really good now. There was some significant cleanup to be done afterwards as the dust gets everywhere, but Phillip had already warned me of this. The sealing with painters tape of the kitchen cabinets and other places that we would not need to use during the project was a good decision, as this significantly reduced the cleanup. Now we just need to get the painting done to see the finished product.

I hired Moe because he was able to accommodate the date that i needed for completing the work, as I already had other work scheduled that needed to start after the pot lights were installed. Moe and his partner showed up at the time we had agreed and did a good work installing the pot lights, they look really good. During the installation, they had to solve a couple of problems along the way, like finding a way under the metal beams, or figuring out what was the best location for the pot lights based after some pipes were found in the initial planned location, but all was done to my satisfaction. I am not giving them all 10 points because they hit an issue that required some rework after we thought the work was almost finished, but they stayed longer than originally planned to get everything done properly and to my satisfaction. The end result was good, and Moe and his partner were very professional during the whole process. I would likely hire him back the next time i have a need for pot light installation or other work that requires an electrician.
