Our issue was that there was no electricity at all in the dining room area and the bathroom exhaust fan switch wasn't working. I looked up electricians in Homestars and contacted 3 companies (including CLI) that were highly rated. Only CLI replied back within a timely manner. They gave me a window when they would come and Adam came within the timeframe. He as courteous and quickly assessed the problem and got both issues fixed. Very satisfied with the work done.

I needed to have a condo repainted in a timely manner to sell it - white walls, doors and trim -- simple. A friend recommended him after seeing reviews at homestars (big mistake). Sam was friendly when he came to the site to quote the work and to get the deposit cheque. Then came the problems. He didn't start the work on the day he promised and the work took longer than what he said it would. I was very unhappy with the quality of the work. Portions of the walls remain unpainted, edges on windows and doors were messy, he didn't even remove the faceplate for the light switches and painted over electrical outlets. Sam tried to evade fault on the poor painting job, saying that the paint on the outlets and lightswitches were already there before. The condo is pretty new, the only painting the condo had previously was from the builder, the lightswitches and electrical outlets didn't have any paint before and the white paint on them now is the same shade of white that I chose. When asked to redo the work or get a discount, Sam became a bully and was very rude. It took a week later to get him to finish the job properly. Would never recommend him or hire Sam again. Poor service and quality.

I had furniture that needed to be moved from one condo to another right away. Peter was prompt in responding to my inquiry. The price was very reasonable. He and Andrew arrived at my condo on time, they were very courteous and moved my furniture carefully and efficiently. I appreciate the extra help they provided in assembling the bed. I would recommend this company to family and friends and would hire them again.

We called Capps to clean our ducts following renovations to our home, and prior to the arrival of our first child. We appreciated the high quality of service Paul delivered. He was punctual; explained what he would do before doing it; and took care with his equipment so as to minimize disruption to our house. We would definitely recommend Capps to others.

We selected Gareth after engaging multiple companies in regards to painting a stained ceiling (previous water damage) with a 'popcorn' finish. Gareth presented all options to us objectively (strip 'popcorn' ceiling vs. paint). He delivered as per the estimated schedule. When we had a question about the final product, he returned promptly and exceeded expectations by applying another coat of paint. The result was an even, consistent finish. Excellent value for our money... and a great person to work with. Will gladly recommend Gareth to others.

I had a specific quartz countertop in mind for my kitchen. I shopped around and TorontoGranite.com had the best price. Vlad was very helpful. Quick turnaround on the fabrication of the countertop. Rodney and Marco were great in installing the countertop. They took the time needed to install it properly. The length was longer than the slab so there needed to be a seam but Rodney did such a great job that the seam is barely noticable. There was a slight mismeasurement to the backsplash and the bartop so it had to be sent back to recut, but it was done within the next 2 days. TorontoGranite.com provided great value and service.

We needed to replace 2 patio doors and a bedroom window that were about 20 years old. We went with Brock after a recommendation by the condo board and reading the reviews from Homestars. Mark the sales rep was friendly and knowledgable and maybe a little too confident. My only quibble was it took 10 weeks from the day we sent out the order form to the day they called to make the appointment for the installation (and because my husband made a call requesting the status after 8 weeks). The installer Alvaro and his team were prompt, courteous, efficient and respectful not to make too much of a mess. When I noticed that one of the patio doors did not have a security bolt as ordered, I called Brock's customer service and in 3 weeks someone from the manufacturer came to install the sercurity bolt.
