We had VEL replace two very old basement windows as well as install a new egress window. Their quote was very competitive but what made us choose them is that they discovered that changes to our furnace required that we have fixed windows installed rather than ones that open. No other company picked up on this. They were able to fit us in relatively quickly and we are very happy with the new windows!

I ordered hardwood flooring from Fitz on May 26, 2015. Was told it would take 3-4 weeks. 11 weeks later and I have no hardwood flooring. I have been calling weekly since week 6 and no one gets back to me. The one time I was able to get any information I was told that my order was "under management review". It is a pretty straight forward order of a few boxes of hardwood so I have no idea why management would need to review. At this point I would just like my money back as it is clear that they have no intention of delivering or responding to my calls. Absolutely horrible customer service. Would never use them in the future.

We had a bad experience with another local fireplace shop and went to BBQ Galore to see what they could offer. We found a floor model fireplace at an excellent price and got a quote in store. Happy with the price and explanation of the possible install we got the estimator out the next day. His quote was identical to the in store quote. For comparison - the install was $1,200 LESS than the competitor. The fireplace was installed yesterday and it is awesome. Job was done quickly and neatly. We appreciate when installers don't complain about how hard the job is and our installer was wonderful. He also did a BBQ gas line for us a couple months ago and was able to get it under our deck without destroying anything. In the future I am going straight here for any gas install needs.

We hired Williams HVAC after getting several quotes for a complicated job. We needed to replace 2 50 year old furnaces, two old hot water tanks and have A/C rough-in. One company was in and out and had several quotes out to us right away. The next took several weeks as they wanted an engineer to come in because the job was very complicated according to the installer. Williams was the last quote and I immediately felt comfortable with Chris, the owner. He explained the difficulties of the job and carefully inspected everything until he had a plan. His quote came in very close to the others and my confidence that he could do the job well was enough to chose to use them. The installers were respectful and clean. It was the smoothest experience we have had with a contractor to date. We are very happy with the new equipment which also includes two humidifiers and two very cool thermostats. I would absolutely recommend Williams HVAC.

We replaced the very old garage door on a home we had recently purchased. We needed one that had great insulation and also looked great. We went with a Carriage Craft door with windows. The price was superior to other quotes we received and the company was very responsive to my initial call as well as subsequent call to book the install. They were able to do the installation within a week and the installer left the garage very clean. He was fast and after a year we still admire the garage door everyday. I have recommended the Door House and will continue to do so.

We have used Darwin's twice now. Very friendly movers. They wrap all furniture very carefully and are very clean. The rates are very reasonable. /if we ever decide to move again I would not hesitate to use this company again.
