Estimate done and start date provided. Date came and went and no workmen. I called the office, the estimator had not even handed the work order over to the installation department. A week later a team of 2 showed up. I went over to check on progress and discovered the workers had arrived late and left before 2 PM. The back gate was left open and tools left in the yard. I told my daughter to close the gate and move tools out of sight of back alley if they did not come back that day. That evening my daughter and her room mate had to clean up because the workmen did not come back. Day 2, cardboard insulation stops (to vent the roof) were not installed in the back as per estimate. It had not been entered on their work order. Manager had to deliver insulation stops so job was delayed. My daughter had to let them workmen into the house so they could install the insulation stops from the attic. I was promised pictures to show the work had been done. When I came back later on day 2, the workman was installing insulation stops every 3rd joist. He noted I was watching so went back and installed in the joists missed. As per other phone calls to their office I had to leave messages because no one picks up a phone there except the receptionist. This last set of phone calls was regarding billing. They were to email the bill to me as I was paying for the work done at my daughter's place. After about a month they finally email the bill. I went down to the office that day to pay for the work and spoke with one of the managers (Jeremy) about the work done. Jeremy apologized profusely and said he and his team would never do that and are their to answer their calls, never allowing anyone to go to voicemail. Jeremy asked what they could do to make amends. I said they could come over to my son's place about 8 blocks from my daughter's place and provide a quote to adjust the eves troughs on each side of the house to have both sides drain into barrels in the back. Jeremy arrived the next day and I met him a the house. Jeremy and I discussed what was to be done - change angle of eves trough on one side of the house and replace and change angle of draining on the other side. He said he would provide the estimate the following day. It is now 2 weeks later. I called back to the office. Jeremy did answer the call from outside the office. He apologized for not having provided the quote. I decided after that I would not be getting any more work done by this company. They can't do as promised.

I had HomePros come in to clean my daughter's furnace ducts. The employee was efficient and explained what he found. I was not at all surprised to hear how dirty it was knowing the previous owner had not done any maintenance work at all. I looked at how the vents were prepared prior to cleaning and how the individual cleaned the vents and ducts. I was well pleased with the person and how well he did the job. I will be getting this company in the future for both my home and my daughter's in the future.

I've used this company several years back in my own home. This week I had my daughter's bathtub refinished. Their processes are a bit different now. My daughter's tub was rusted in a number of locations but this team took special care to remove all the rust before putting on the new finish. I had them put on a slightly rough finish on the bottom of the tub to prevent slipping. It looks lovely and works great.

In my daughter's recently purchased home there were a number of issues needing immediate repair. This call to Neumann's was to replace a bathroom sink drain. The previous owner had used a flex hose and a whole tube of silicone to keep the hose in place. Newmann's was on site early as requested, replace the hose with a proper drain and removed the mess of silicone under the sink. I've used the services of Newmann's for several years now and I've always had great service with them. Thanks Newmann's!

This past month I've used Robart Electric for a few tasks at my daughter's recently purchased residence. This last was to upgrade the electrical service from 60 amp to 100 amp. I find Robart Electric to be fast, efficient, and their prices affordable. The staff are always pleasant and helpful in answering any questions about electrical issues.

Every year I get this company to do my lawn and each year they make promises they don't keep. With my dog they promised to call ahead so I could get my dog back in the house. They have yet to do this. They were insistent on coming out yesterday (May 9) to do the aeration and over-seeding. I put my hip out trying to get all the raking done before they came. They didn't show. I phoned today - they will TRY to get someone here and no valid reason for not showing up yesterday. I told them either do it today or refund my entire season of lawn maintenance.

As always Robart has provide exemplary service. They were fast, efficient, friendly and the guys cleaned up after themselves. Also a special thanks to Sharon who assisted with phone calls to the cabinet makers who were not getting back to me with reschedule dates. Robart Electric went above and beyond to help get the job done. Great company to work with!!!

After 10 months of waiting, $10,000 down and old cabinets ripped out 2 months ago I find they laid off their sales person and are closing the doors at their current location. I haven't been able to contact Trevor in a week. A visit to their store shows they are dismantling their office. I am told by the staff recently laid off that Trevor is trying to find a location that isn't so costly and that just to wait a few more weeks. My cabinets are in Customs. I need more than a few words to placate me now. I need Trevor to return my calls. Update - It's been a year since I signed a contract with this company and many months since I wrote this review. Trevor skipped out and left me high and dry with my old cabinets gone and no new cabinets to replace them. I've since gotten another company to do the work.

I'd contacted a few roofers who wanted to replace my roof, site unseen, when all I needed was a small section replaced near a vent. Alf's roofing came in, checked the entire roof, inside and out, and agreed it only required a patch at the vent. I was very pleased with the company, the ease of getting an appointment quickly and the repair work. I also consider the price of the repairs to be in line with my expectations.
