BEWARE!!!
Although I have no complaints about the hardwood, or the experience while buying the hardwood, my warning to anyone reading this review is exclusively about the installation of the hardwood and their after-install customer service.

When the hardwood was installed for the upstairs in my home, there were several areas throughout that started to "buckle" about 1 week after the installation. The overall work was also quite sloppy with lots of cracked boards from a rushed job. It was determined that the installers missed with their nail gun in several spots failing to secure the hardwood to the subfloor properly thus causing the buckling. The installation came with a 1 year warranty according to the agreement and paperwork that I was given. It became apparent very quickly that their warranty is completely worthless as they will fight ferociously to avoid having to fix their mistakes. They demanded that if we wanted them to fix their mistakes I needed to purchase more boxes of hardwood. On top of that we never received calls or visits from a supervisor as promised, they basically ghosted us. I have hired contractors to install hardwood in four different places over the last 10 years. I have never seen such sloppy and incompetent work, and a company that is so un-willing to honour their warranty and fix their mistakes.

Mian our Sales Representative at the Hamilton location was wonderful to work with. Top quality hardwood and a top quality company. I recommend them highly to anyone. Extremely satisfied with the outcome of our floor quality and appearance. We replaced our entire main floor that included living room, dining room, kitchen, family room and hallway with Engineered Hardwood. It looks fantastic!

We have just had 650 square feet of new hardwood flooring installed in two rooms of our Scarborough home. We went with Obsessions Exotic Walnut Solid Sawn in a natural colour, purchased from Kamran at the Hardwood Design Centre (Hardwood Giant) store at 1950 Lawrence Avenue East in Scarborough. Pricing was competitive and the installation, handled by Trevor, was exceptional. The rooms look striking - not only the floors, but the baseboard and trim work, also handled by Trevor. Oak transitions were stained to match the flooring, baseboards and moulding were carefully cut and fitted. My wife and I are beyond pleased with the excellent pricing, installation and service. I have read some very harsh and negative online reviews of Giant Hardwood, but for me, the flooring supplied by the Scarborough store, and the installation team's work, were both superb.
