Wow, if i could rate Protex a ten instead, it would still be too low. These guys were recommended to me by my neighbour. They are amazing, and that is truly understated. From very prompt response during an insanely busy season, to calls/text/emails; to listening to my concerns; to offering various solutions; to excellent quality of work; to the price quote; to the completion and clean up; to scheduling other appts and keeping them; this company is both incredibly professional and approachable. I am very happy with their work and their recommendations. As a Realtor, I see everything in homes, and I would call Protex in a nano second. I refer them to my clients without hesitation. If you can remember the coldest days in Jan/18 you will remember temperatures of -24 to -26 degrees. Well, that is when my submersible pump decides to quit after 25 years! I called everyone in the book and on the internet. Everyone was booked for days, working on frozen pipes etc. Thank God for The Pluming Doctor who gave me Roy's number. He too was very busy but was truly sympathetic that we had no water. He was at my house in less than 24 hours pulling the pump out of the well, all 125 feet. I don't know how he was able to work bare handed in those temperatures. He is truly amazing, the best, and someone I'll definitely contact in the future for my plumbing issues!!!!!!

My toilet was leaking, and I had a handyman come in to replace the flush valve. He botched the job, and the leak worsened. I then contacted a large plumbing company, but they couldn’t get an estimate from their supplier as to when the part would be available. I called several other plumbers, and Protex was the only one with the part in stock. They were courteous and helpful on the phone, sent someone over within a couple hours, and did a great job. The leak is gone, and I’m very satisfid with their service. Their price was also a lot more reasonable that the price quoted by the big plumbing company. I won’t hesitate to use them again for my plumbing needs.

After calling several other plumbing services and got abosolutely no reply not even and acknowledgement of receiving the call, I was referred to Protex Plumning by a business associate, within the day Protex called me arranged an Job quote appointment within two days. They came did the quote and told me they could have the Job done that very same day,
which they did, in less time than quote. They were well prepared, because the manufacturer of one of my appliance forgot a key component, which Protex had anticipated they might so they had the part readily available.

We had a toilet overflow and needed immediate help from a plumber. The blockage started in the shower in another bathroom upstairs. I called Roy and he came within half an hour. He snaked the clogged toilet and unplugged it, thus unclogging the shower also. We had a big leak in the dining room below since the bathroom was directly above the dining room. Roy acted quickly and called a reno company , which came over and started the procedure to drain the water and dry out the ceiling. I was very pleased with Roy's work and his follow up for the problem.

Basically, my previous contractor was incompetent and drywalled in the pipe leading to my front, outdoor faucet. Said faucet was not made out of freeze-proof material, so it has to have a shut-off valve for the winter months. Max did the work, cutting an 8x8 inch portion out of the drywall and installed the valve. He advised getting a spring-loaded panel cover from HD, which worked like a charm to put the hole out of site and out of mind, yet easily accessible when needed. We're very happy with the work performed and would readily recommend Max and Protex to anyone requiring plumbing repairs.

Max arrived right on time.
Completed the job quickly and stuck around to test his work when the utility turned the water back on.
