3 Piece Sofa Set

I ordered a 3 piece sofa set in early January 2016, from the Vaughan location and gave the retailer a 25% deposit. The sofa set was scheduled for delivery on January 28. They told me they would call 2 days in advance to confirm delivery and it never happened. I revisited the store and sales person said I can't issue a refund at this location and that I would need to go to their main office in Brampton to see their Accountant. I went to their head office and they would not give a refund. They took my money, could not commit to shipping the goods. I question their business practices and business ethics, fraudulent to say the least. These people should be put out of business. Don't shop here, you will regret it.

Sofa Set

Excellent customer service. Excellent Website. The best thing I like about Rooms Furniture is there website which has all the pricing. I was able to do my homework and select furniture that fits my budget. I have been customers of ROOMS FURNITURE for a long time. Each time I am their I experience a new level of satisfaction and customer service which keeps me bringing back. I recommend ROOMS FURNITURE to everyone from the bottom of my heart.

Bed set (Frame, mattress and headboard)

I used to think these things were pretend. Now I understand. I don't understand how this place still carries on business. They gave us the wrong headboard, delivered the wrong headboard that was to replace the already wrong headboard, then, after sending several emails, they tell me someone's coming to deliver the "correct Headboard, AND THEN NO ONE SHOWS UP. Mindi, the person I was dealing with, is probably the worst customer service rep EVER. Ignored my emails, and then, when I tell her how unprofessional her company has been, she's telling me I shouldn't be saying that. OH PLEASE. This store is beyond stupid. If I could stand outside and warn people about what they're getting themselves into, I would. Horrible. Just stupid Horrible.

Sofa and dining set

Roomsonline.ca - delivery of furniture and bad cust service
Never ever buy from here or face this.
01 March 2015 : Brought sofa set and was promised delivery after 5pm on 06 Marchsince all three in family are working.
Delivery guy calls in at 3 pm and says he will reach by 4pm. Delivery for that day cancelled.
Call them 6 times and then finally delivery set for 15th on mutual time.
Calls on 15th and says delivering at 6pm. Reaches at 8pm.
We call at 0815pm moments after the delivery saying sofa is damaged.
Response you must have damaged it. To return deduct 25% or to reorder pay delivery charges of 100$ again.
When told customer service is bad, and we will never buy again from you...then answer is its ok.
It was almost as if they do not care and the delivery manager Mindy never picks up call if your number is known.
Standing outside store we called from cell number and observed she did not pickup. Called from friends number and she picked up instantly. Mythird friend was in store near her office to see this.
Wow.....spread word around...save others from trouble.
In end after 35 days of daily calling and complaining sofa delivered finally at doorstep at 4pm when deal was it would be put in living room. Wife had to take half day to get delivery
Wife had to wait till son and I got from work to pick it and get in. Oh ya second delivery was returned due to wrong sofa.
In the end a 799 dollar sofa cost us almost 999$ taking into account delivery charges 3 times. with discount of only 10% for all trouble

Rooms Furniture

I purchased my bedroom set from Rooms furniture about 3 weeks ago, however the foot board didn’t fit properly with the rails and headboard. Immediately, I called the company and they had instructed me to take pictures of the faulty product and send it to them. After doing this one of the customer service reps, Jyoti, confirmed that they had received my e-mail and were assessing the damaged product. Within a week I received a new footboard, hassle free and fortunately it fit together perfectly. I have been sleeping on my luxurious king size bed for the past week now and I couldn’t express enough how happy I am with this purchase. Sales rep manisha and customer service rep jyoti were very helpful with the purchase, delivery and replacement of my damaged goods. Very Impressed!!

Dining table

Hi everyone! Please don't buy any furniture from Rooms Brampton and their other locations. I bought a dining table set from them for $700 cash and what I got is scratched and damaged dining set after 3 months of long wait. And nobody helped me out from their staff.They said their all sales are final and non-refundable.They promised you for new stuff but deliver you broken and floor models. I am not going back to their store anymore.

Crappy Leather

Biggest mistake of my life buying from this store ! I received there flyer and a saw a sofa set they claimed to be leather so went to check it out, i should have been warned when a lady was yelling in store about her bed came all broken and no one was helping her. But stupid me went ahead and bought the set paid them a $1000 cash as they would not take any other form of payment another warning sign ! didn't listen to that one either..any how bought it they said would have it delivered by the weekend, no one called so i called and they said that i am not on the schedule. I told the lady when i paid they guy who i bought it from said it would be delivered on saturday..she was really rude and said i could have it deliverd on Tuesday thats the day she had available, it didn't matter what i was trying to say to her. any way i said tues i'll be home after 5 so i was set up between 6-9 guess what no one showed up no one called..now i'm getting a little nervous i paid them all the money and i have no sofa. I call them first thing in the morning to ask what happened to my delivery the same rude girl answered and said that their truck broke down, well it would be nice if somebody called and told me that. She reschedules the delivery for Thursday 6-9, i told her it better be there or otherwise i'll be at the store 10:00am sharp to get my money. the rude girl tells me i will not get the money that all sales are final and there are no refunds..now i'm really getting upset thinking what did i get myself into and not buy from reputable store and not have to hear this kind of bs. anyways around 8:00pm i get call from guy who can't speak much english and tells me he can't make the delivery he is stuck out of town but he promised he will be here tomorrow after 6..what am i going to do i take his word for it..i am so frustred i didn';t even want to call the rude girl any more. i wait the next day finally the guys shows up with the sofa set and just leaves it at the front door wants me to sign so he can take off, so i ask who is going to open this and put it in my family room he tells me he just delivers he doesn't set up or unpacks anything. I just want to sit on my new sofa so i start to unpack this sofa set i had to put all the backs on and they were really heavy for me to set up and move to the family room..finally i get to the last piece and its damaged, i put it back in the package so i can call them to have it exchanged. so i have to call this rude girl again..i tell her of the problem with one of the pieces and they can have it exchanged as it badly torn and unusable..she tells me no there are no exchange all sale are final..so guess what i have to live with damaged piece of garbage. Well i learned my lesson the hard way this is why i am posting this hoping other people will learn from mistake ! There is reason why their prices are low they sell refurbished furniture !
