I recently purchased a new home and needed the roof to be replaced immediately. I was referred to John, by a relative. I was impressed on how professional John was to deal with. John and his crew finished my roof in no time.(they took care of the cleanup) I am so pleased with the results.The roof looks stunning! I would highly recommend JMT Roofing and Painting.

This is to let you know that my Rental Property at location 7813 6th Street, Burnaby, BC, with a urgent repairs of roof which was leaking, I called JMT Roofing and explained the situation. Director of the company who took his valuable time and was at the site.
After inspection he recommended to get the roof replaced. JMT gave me the estimate which was very reasonable and I asked JMT to get the job done as we discussed.
The job was done with very professional manner. I was called at the site to inspect if it was to my satisfaction. Yes the job was to my satisfaction and was completed.
The job was done within the time frame and since then I have a very high recommendation to get any of my investment property to get roofing done.
I would recommend to my friends and relatives for the future.

When I called JMT Roofing last Thursday and left a message they returned my call right away. John took the time to explain to me exactly what we needed to do. I liked his answers and when I called him back to ask him to do the work he fit me in the next day. He gave me a time and was at my home when he said he would be. John and his partner worked hard focusing on the job to get it done. I was impressed. I need a painter and want to hire them to do my painting.

John and his crew replaced my roof earlier in the summer which they had done an excellent job. This early winter i had noticed two leaks from my gutters and I had contacted John with anxiousness and he returned my call within a few hours. He advised that his company was very busy but would visit for an estimate as soon as he was able or convenient. Surprisingly he showed up two days later and provided me with the best estimate against two well known competing companies I had also obtained estimates from at a later date. After committing, to my surprise again, JMT showed up to do the work a week later.
John and his crew, as they had with my roof had done a perfect job and also left my home cleaner than prior to them arriving. His crew was professional and friendly. They kindly and patiently showed me step by step what they were doing and also went out of their busy schedule to hook up my christmas lights free of charge. I without hesitation have highly recommended JMT to all our neighbours, family and close friends. It is unusual to find a company with such integrity and strength of character. John had (as before) dropped by after the job to ensure all was done well and also provided a dvd to show that the work was done as promised. It is comforting to have faith not only with John but his entire crew. It is obvious that they take their work personally and with complete pride. John's crew installed a new roof, gutters and fascia boards on our 100 yr old home in November of 2013.

John showed up on time to provide a quote and took the time to thoroughly explain the job as we are first-time homeowners and newbies to renovations. We were very comfortable with the quote and decided to proceed with the job.

John was expecting to remove one layer of asphalt shingles and one layer of cedar but upon commencement found two additional layers of asphalt shingles. We easily negotiated a minor price increase and proceeded with the job. The work took about 5 days longer than expected due to Vancouver weather in November but the results were great.

John's crew was very friendly and professional and I have no problem recommending them. We will definitely be bringing them back to install some soffits in the future.

In my 60 years as an architect & developer I have dealt with very many building trades - good & bad. John & JMT Roofing rank with the best. John is a pleasant, willing man, his quote among the lowest, his crew competent & hard-working. I have pleasure in recommending them to anyone wanting an excellent job.

Awesome service and price! Had a friend back a 10 ton truck into my parents' gutters while they were away and John saved my life! Was a custom 55 foot run that had to be built on the spot and he pulled it off that same week before my parents got home. Would recommend JMT to anyone in a heartbeat.

John did the repairs to my roof a few years ago and was impressed with the quality of service that was performed. So when it was time to have my old roof and gutter replaced I requested John again to do the work. John did gave me some suggestions on what is needed to be done and showed me samples of the work he did in our neighbourhood. He also showed me samples of the materials that he will be using and explained to me the benefits compared to other roofing materials. John is very thorough and very friendly which made it easy for me to decide on which contractor to go with. His crew are all very knowledgeable and polite. Kudos to Leo and his partner who did the gutters. Their workmanship and attention to detail is worth mentioning.
