I had dimitri install the Avenzo backsplash purchased from Lowe’s. I chose the frost grout which dimitri recomended. Overall I am very happy I went with tilestars to install my backsplash who I found through homestars. Dimitri was very quick and answered any questions had prior to the install. On the day of the install dimitri and his helper came on time, covered the floor and countertop. The backsplash looks great and I would definitely use him for future projects. If you want peace of mind from start to finish I would definitely reccomend him. Thanks dimitri

Got Tilestars name from Homestars 5 years ago and they did an outstanding job of removing and replacing all the tile in a kitchen, breakfast area, bathroom, hallway & mudroom. Lots of nooks, corners and odd angles but never a problem. Based on that experience we had them back in December this year to do a smaller job of removing existing carpeting and replacing with a membrane and large format tile in a 4 season sunroom. Once again detailed estimate in writing, started on time, finished on time even working on Sunday to make sure project was ready for Christmas. No problem with challenges, obsessed with details, on time and very neat and tidy. They also have relationships with many suppliers so able to get substantial discounts on tiles - speak with Dmitri before purchasing your tiles. Dmitri was once again a delight to work with and consummate professional. What more could a homeowner ask for.

We had an awful, crooked backsplash that we wanted to update and we're glad we called Dmitri to do the job. He and his team did a fantastic job. Not only did they replace our broken drywall but they put in the new tile beautifully. And they did it all in one day! We are so happy we finally have a beautiful backsplash. Dmitri communicated with us throughout the entire process and his team kept the place absolutely spotless leaving no trace of grout or drywall anywhere.

I have used Dmitri before for other jobs. This was to replace a cracked floor tile, laid by another contractor.

You are not going to find a more polite, knowledgeable, and friendly contractor. I can not praise him enough for his attention to detail, even on such a small job. He truly wants to make sure you are 100% happy and I am a very picky guy.

Dmitry and his team were great to deal with, and very concerned about ensuring we were 100% satisfied with the work. Tilestars completed work throughout our house, from slate fireplace surround, to kitchen and bath backsplashes, to floors throughout our bathrooms and laundry room. Dmitry is contentious about the quality of his work, and recommended the Schluter waterproofing system to us, which was very cool and we were happy to know about it. I was always amazed that Dmitry was able to remember all my grout colour selections! We presented some challenges to Tilestars, and nothing was a problem. We worked together to find solutions to any logistical challenges. Tilestars also has great partnerships with tile stores throughout the GTHA with excellent discounts, which helps a lot. We really appreciated working with Dmitry. He's very personable and was very transparent with us. I would definitely recommend Tilestars to others!

Dimitri delivered on his word to show up on the start date and finish on time. He was thoughtful and considerate of us living in construction and took great pride in his work. We would recommend him to our friends.

Dimitri did a fabulous black tile wall (though he wasn’t so sure about the black) in my kitchen and a new floor in the basement bathroom after a big plumbing nightmare!
