Their employee inspected our existing system briefly. He claimed we have a closed system (which it isn't) so we needed an expansion tank and also included an isolation valve which we already have. This made an unacceptably high quote. He offered a 20% reduction if we signed up for their Orbit Membership which he and only he could offer us free for the first year. The labour charges for each item seemed to be based on separate installation of each item rather than as part of the one job.

We had a moldy smell in the kitchen area that appeared while a bathroom Reno was started.
Jen showed up, we explained the issue and mentioned when I do laundry the smell shows up in the kitchen. Jen immediately went to the laundry room. Found the smell in the outlet and began to eliminate all plumbing issues.
It was a little costly but worth the money to identify plumbing was not the issue.
We will now call a roofing company to see if that is the issue.

I needed to replace a leaking spigot in my garage. The cost of someone JUST TO SHOW UP and provide an estimate is $89.

Plumber arrived on time. Took him less than 5 minutes to diagnose the problem. Obviously, I showed him the leaking spigot! The total cost for the job (including the $89 "show up fee" was approx $650. Totally ridiculous!! I paid the $89. This will be my last ever payment I will be making to DS Plumbing. I will never use them again!!

BTW!! When I asked that they provide me an estimate for the cost of the job at the time I called to book the appointment, they refused to quote!!!!

I contacted Out Of This World Plumbing for emergency repair of a leak in a water service line connection. The person taking the call was polite, professional and responsive. The service call arrived earlier than expected. Eds work was clean and efficient as he worked expertly to diagnose and complete the repair. Thank you so much for your care and attention!

During a renovation in our basement, we noted a leak from our bathroom on the second floor. We called to request service and Trevor arrived within 45 minutes. They even texted his picture and a brief bio before he arrived, so we knew who was coming! Trevor thoroughly assessed the situation and confirmed there was a hole in the stack. He quickly repaired it. We also followed his recommendation to switch out our 20 year old toilet.
He was up front about the possible issues and the pros and cons of possible repairs as well as the possible cost for each. Trevor was extremely professional and efficient, working well with the contractors we already had on site.
We will certainly call again if needed in the future and we would definitely recommend.

Paid 100 bucks for the visit only. To replace the trap on my drain pipe and patch up the ceiling the flat rate sun total came out to be $1000. To me that's very expensive for a 2 hour job.

The specialist was incredibly friendly, professional and did high quality work.
