We are very happy with our new windows from Pioneer. They look and work great, and were a very competitive price. Derek was very informative helping us decide what window types would work best for our home and Nash did an excellent job with the installation and finishing. They were on time, fast and left the work site very clean. We hope that the windows will last and perform as well as the installation process has been. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

We hired Pioneer to do some windows a few years ago. Our home is now quieter and draft free. Then they came back to replace a drafty, whistling door which I am thrilled with, also our double entry doors with lovely hardware and glass. In the meantime they replaced several windows at my father's place in Toronto which he is still happy with. Now we're hiring them once again to replace another window and our side door. Jeff has been great and very accomodating. He's actually on his way now to set up the installation!

Contracted Pioneer to replace 46 windows a front door and patio door.
The bay window was completely rebuilt and capped.
Work commennced on time and finished to our satisfaction.
Installers were very pleasant and capable, finished a day earlier then expected.
Product is good quality, and greatly enhanced the look and value of the house.
All windows were brick to brick installed.
All windows have stained wood interior finish

Jeff and the team from Pioneer installed 26 windows and 1 custom door unit for us a few years back. We were delighted with the premium quality of the product, the installation and the price. We bid a single garden door, double garden door and garage exit door and were pleased to find Pioneer best price again. The doors were installed today, again the high quality installation they look great and we are once again delighted with Pioneer.

If you're looking for good quality windows at an affordable price to replace inefficient windows, this company's product exceeds expectations. So many features in one low price! My only regret is we chose to retrofit as we didn't know our original to the builder, wood frames had rotted out. The windows were capped to help prevent any further rot, and eliminate the need to continue to paint the frames to maintain them, but it's not aesthetically pleasing. This isn't a Pioneer problem but something other owners should look out for when replacing wood casement windows. Consider a brick to brick installation. It will cost more but worth it. Unfortunately for us, the windows were already made and installation had to move forward. If we had known the frames were compromised, we could have made a better decision, but I still love my new windows!
My installers were wonderful, respectful and skillful at what they do. Be prepared to pay cash/cheque for your product/installation. We wanted to pay by Visa to take advantage of Aeroplan points but were told we would be expected to cover the company's service charges. Build any additional charges into your budget. As for the capping on the arch of our windows, we are looking at what can be done to fix this but for now, it keeps water away from the wood. We've had several neighbours tell us how unattractive it looks but this only encourages me to tell others if you have rounded windows, go for one full piece and do brick to brick.

Update - September 17, 2014: Following my posting I was contacted by Jeff who explained that the person I originally dealt with was no longer with the company. After a serious of unfortunate breaks in communication, Jeff took it upon himself to ensure that the problem was rectified. I am now pleased to report that the damaged door frame piece was replaced. Jeff has also assured me that his company does stand by their product and that customer service is very important to them. After just over 2 years since getting the new front doors, he has demonstrated his commitment to customer satisfaction. I now feel confident in dealing with this company again. Thank you!
