The One Roofing

Two years ago I called Michael as I had water entering my garage wall at the roofline. I'd had several people come and give estimates, but Michel was so competent: he had a clear plan in place, he was able to describe all of the work he proposed in language I could understand and he was able to do the repair on the spot! One thing that impressed me the most is that although I had to be away from the house while he completed the job, when I returned he'd taken photos of all the steps he'd taken, including the evidence of the leak which he was fixing. I had not asked for this, he offered it himself. He is an incredibly honest tradesman and I would recommend him to anyone. Two years later that leak has never re-appeared.
But why am I writing a review two years later? I called him again yesterday as my older home has sprung a new problem in a different location. He was here first thing this morning, exploring the problem with me. His conclusion: while a small corner of the roof needs replacing, it is more an issue with siding, not roofing (his specialty). So, rather than make a quick buck fixing the roof part and leave me to worry about siding, he recommended another tradesman who could do both the siding and the small amount of roofing. He gave this great advice, made a referral to another undoubtedly trustworthy serviceman and refused payment for his time and advice. I am incredibly impressed by the honesty of this man and will have him re-do my whole roof when the time comes. I could not recommend anyone more highly!

Michel was right on time, cleaned up very well & explained each step & actually fixed some soft spots in my roof ( that he found) & included them in the price. Nicely done & I would recommend him anytime.

Michel came over the same day I called for a leaky roof quote. He took the time to go on the roof and then explain all of our options. He was very informative.

We appreciate that he works alone. My husband also works alone in renovations and wanted to do the roof himself to save money but I convinced him to let Michel handle it. We're very happy with our decision.

Michel was very professional. He kept the site clean, only took off as much roof as he could replace in the same day and the price was very reasonable. He also kept us informed on what he was doing throughout the process. The roof looks great! There's also been lots of rain since the roof was replaced and of course it's not leaking :-)

We had our roof vents leak last year and contacted a few companies to fix it. Michel was very quick to respond and while it was a smaller job we were very fortunate that he was willing to come and fix it. He was very professional and informative.

Since having the shingles on my roof replaced a few years ago, I have had the opportunity to interact with and call several different Roofing "experts" to have issues addressed.

My problem is associated to water leaking into the residence due to ice build up/melting in spring, and since it is now summer time, it is too early to tell if the problem is finally rectified.
However, what I can comment to, is the workmanship, professionalism, knowledge and punctuality of Michel from "The One Roofing".
Michel responded to my online quote request within a day and made an appointment within days.
He was very punctual, even attended 1/2 hour earlier than planned and was very polite. My problem was one that was fairly unique and tricky, yet Michel took the time to patiently listen to everything I had to explain and in return, he explained in great detail, everything he was going to do.

Michel also took pictures several times throughout stages of the job and showed it to me, so as the customer did not have to go onto the roof.
In this day and age, with MANY unreliable persons offering services, it was a true pleasure dealing with someone who was RELIABLE and very knowledgeable in his field.

I would definitely be using Michel's services in the future.

Our fascia came loose during a wind storm and was flapping in the air. I called around and Michel was the first to give me a straight answer and came that very day. He did the job quickly and answered all my questions. I will definitely recommend The One roofing to anyone who needs quick and professional service!

We had an existing issue with the roof, which started leaking in Aug. The company we originally went with never followed up to complete the repair. So my husband attempted the repair, but after a recent wind storm, rows of shingles folded up. I called another roofing company, but they were booked solid. They suggested I call Michel. I am glad I did. He was the only one out of the roofers we called that actually went on the roof before saying what the problem was. AND he glued the shingles down at the same time-no charge and before we agreed to take him on. We called the next day to book and Michel did the repair that same day! My neighbour also lost shingles and when he was done here, he went right over there and replaced their shingles too. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and definitely loves what he does. When we have to replace all the shingles in a few years, we will be calling Michael.

Michel was affordable, communicative, quick, professional and trustworthy. He told us what and how he would replace our shingles and he followed exactly what he said. Could not have asked for a better roofing contractor! There was no mess and no inconvenience for us. Fantastic work; we can't say enough good things about Michel.

Michel did a great job with my roof. He showed up when he said he would and completed my roof in two days. The clean up was meticulous - not a nail or bit of garbage left behind. I definitely recommend him for any roofing.

Michael was efficient, friendly and on time. His work was professional in other words he did a good job. He always cleaned up after the days work which was great. He is a craftsman who takes pride in his work. He wants his customers to be happy with the work done. This quality is rare these days.
