Vanguard Caulking

I used Vanguard two years and never got around to doing a review. They did a fantastic job caulking around all my windows and vents.

Definitely recommend this company if you are looking for caulking.

We were in dire need of caulking for the exterior of our home, and we were having little success finding a local caulking company. During our search, we discovered Vanguard Caulking, and upon reading the reviews , we contacted Rimas. We were looking for specific criteria to be met, things like not being concerned about how fast the job would be done, not cutting corners and overall quality of work. Rimas was very re-assuring, said all the right things, so we booked him to come out to Kitchener. All I can say is that we were not disappointed, quite the opposite. Rimas and Oleg were prompt, professional and their work speaks for itself. The attention to detail and little add-ons were very impressive. I would recommend to anyone needing caulking to look no further then Vanguard Caulking.

Hired Vanguard Caulking as part of an exterior stucco renovation. They showed up on time, every time, and performed the work to expert standards. Even the other trades on-site were impressed by their work and confirmed that it was done perfectly.
I don't give many 5 star reviews but this one is well deserved. If you’re looking for someone to do caulking and do it properly, look no further.

When we replaced our glass doors, the installers told us that all the caulking [doors, windows, vents] was way past its due date. This was true since it was 23 years old! But I had never noticed. I found Vanguard on this site and took a chance. They were outstanding. They removed all the old stuff, replaced venting and did a fabulous job. It was painstaking work - exceptionally well done.

I contacted Vanguard for a quote. Rimas spent some time explaining what will be done exactly and even provided tips on what I should look for on a contractor doing the job. This assured me that he was a professional!
Oleg, a very friendly partner, completed the work and the ensured that all the windows were done. He colour matched the caulking as needed and replaced the old vents. We also had a font step that had developed a large gap. He ensured that there was a lot of insulation added to minimize shifting and patched it. Thanks for the great and professional job done!

The house had not been re-caulked since I purchased years ago and I wanted to make sure the dried old caulking was removed. I knew after many years it would be a difficult job and I would need someone who specializes in this work (not a handyman) and could make it go smoothly.

Rimas was super easy to deal with and his work was very clean, fast and quality - it gave a fresh new look to the windows and the whole house.

I noticed Vanguard caulking truck in my neighbour's driveway. Went to chat with Rimas (company's owner) about my house's caulking and ask for his opinion whether it's in good quality. He stopped by and right away told me that old caulking was done incorrectly (6 years ago) - it was applied on top of previous caulking. It was cracking, splitting up - in general quite a messy job,too. So that caulking didn't do any good to my house, because it was insulated and sealed incorrectly.
Rimas set a day to come and do the job. Showed up early in the morning. Removed all old caulking, put the backer rod and applied nice, even, smooth, colour matching to my frame caulking.
I would with no doubt recommend Vanguard Caulking. Very professional, know their trade inside out. The quality is undeniable!

Rimas was a pleasure to deal with, he and his crew did an outstanding job, attention to detail, clean and efficient. On time and on budget highly recommended. We had a big job to re do all windows and vents done in a day.
