Vanguard Caulking

I had work completed by Rimas years ago (approx. 5 years) and I never got a chance to write a review. The work he did was outstanding. He was very professional, timely and efficient completing all windows, doors, vents and exterior lighting all in one day. He uses the best product and ensured that the work was completed exactly as I wanted. Rimas goes the extra mile for his customers. I have also recommended him to family and friends who were all impressed with his work. This is the #1 caulking company in the GTA, this is my option.

I tried to find a caulking professional for my job, and got a couple quotes but I was skeptical. Then I found Vanguard Caulking here. They did the job for me today. Amazing! All the beads are great, they were quick, professional, and friendly. They cleanup before they left too. Now my windows look great. I'll hire them for indoor caulking jobs in the future. If you need caulking job done, they're the one.

A company is only as good as the person backing it, and Rimas (owner) is the very best one will find in terms of "Quality of Work" and overall professionalism. He is extremely reliable and responded immediately to all my questions. Cost was fair & reasonable.

We replaced our builder grade windows in stages over a 5 year period starting in 1995 with Northstar Windows. Northstar came to do some weatherstripping warranty work. We were advised by the technician, our windows required re-caulking.

After an internet search we found Vanguard Caulking. The customer reviews were all positive. We contacted Vanguard Caulking & immediately a response was sent back requesting photos of our (5) windows. An appointment was scheduled the following week to complete the job.

Vanguard Caulking arrived on time, removed all old caulking, applied high quality caulking and cleaned up. The windows look perfect!!

We will definitely call Vanguard Caulking to book an appointment for the spring to remove/re-caulk our remaining windows.

Needed to recaulk my all windows and doors. I contacted couple caulking companies for a quote, received a quick response from Vanguard Caulking. Rimas seemed very knowledgeable and asked me questions about my house - gave very good suggestions.
Showed up at 7 am, removed old caulking, insulated and applied a highest quality caulking. His job looks flawless, clean and straight lines. Vanguard's attention to detail is impressive.

Rimas at Vanguard did excellant work replacing the caulking around our windows and doors. I could not recommend them soon enough. Rimas and his crew were efficient and cleaned up the site completely. My wife appreciated the post review of all the work. Our neighbour was home and witnessed their talent and has since book an appointment to get the caulking around their windows dors done. Before I found Vanguard I called a couple of other companies referred by my neighbour. But neither of these other companies returned my calls and they ignored my emails sent through their own website forms. I was about to give up but thanks to Google I found Vanguard and got in touch with Rimas right away. Actually I did everything by text message with Rimas. It was very easy to negotiate and set up the appointment. The price was around what I expected because my neighbour did their house last year. On the day of the work, Vanguard started exactly on time. The work they did looks very professional to me. They first removed all of the old caulking including the very bad caulking I tried to do myself around my sliding door. They used properly matching caulking colors as needed. Originally I told Rimas I had two broken vent covers but he actually replaced 3 of them and didn't charge me anything extra for it. He even applied caulking around areas like the cables/piping to my air con. At the end of the job, they cleaned up all the old caulking pieces they removed and Rimas walked me all around the house explaining to me everything they did, and even identifying problems they noticed such as foggy windows. Overall, an easy experience for me and a complete end-to-end job done well.

A few of my windows have wide gaps. One window is particularly horribly screwed up by my window installer who didn’t install the window straight. Some part of left window gap is more than 1.7” wide while the right side is only 0.3” wide. After job done, I am very happy that it is barely noticeable by me. I don’t think any other visitors would notice the flawed gaps.

The owner Rimas is doing the caulking job himself. With 15-year experience, his quality of work is beyond my expectation. Rimas got job done very nicely in all my other windows, with insulation material always installed in every window edge gap. His caulking finish is straight and smooth throughout. I highly recommend Vanguard Caulking/Rimas.

Rimas and his crew did an emaculate job caulking our windows, some of which he fixed following a sloppy job from a previous trade. He also replaced high end vents after ours were damaged by a wind storm. He has fair prices and is very easy to communicate with by text. We highly recommend his company!
