We called on a Friday late afternoon and technician was out on the Monday morning, right at the given appointment time. Tightened springs and chain and lubricated door and it works great. Other company that we called first felt that we would need a new garage door opener just from the phone call description and said the service call to just come out and check was over $100 an hour. Glad we went with Stampede Overhead.

After reading the great reviews of this company on HomeStars, we decided to give them a call as we needed a general servicing on our garage door. They were able to arrange an appointment within a couple of days. The service tech arrived at the scheduled time and gave the door a good check-up. We would certainly use this company again if the need arises.

My garage door got stuck open this morning. Seeing the great reviews that Stampede got on Homestars, I called them first. They said they'd send someone between 11:30 and 12:30, and explained how much it would cost, plus parts, if any. The guy showed up on time and fixed the problem (bracket was bent). He showed me the old bracket, and made sure I saw that the door now works. Couldn't ask for better service.

Can't say enough about how good this company is and will continue to spread that word far and wide. They actually try to save you money!
Originally had them come in 2008 to fix a non functioning garage door. They told me to call the company that had installed the door opener since they would have a part and that would be cheaper for me. They didn't charge. When the first company did not have the part but offered to install a new system, declined and called Stampede back to do the job. Today they came again - quickly. They pointed out clearly what I needed to do to keep my door working as well as it has all these years and showed me what I could do myself to save a service call. They always offer to help you over the phone if they can. My highest recommendation!

My cable rusted out and snapped. I needed it replaced as soon as possible. Stampede gave me an estimate over the phone and came out the following day and fixed the problem. They did exactly what they said they would do, where on time, efficient, and friendly, and at the agreed price. Most importantly they guarantee their work and when I had a minor hiccup with the door afterwards (sensor misalignment) they came by and fixed it with no hassle. Will use them again.

I love these guys. I have used them twice; the first time the springs had snapped, the second time (today) the door was failing to open and close properly. They arrived within 3 hours of me calling! They are honest, nice guys, they don't rip you off at all. Today they could have easily convinced me to spend $500 on a new system but they didn't and I appreciated their honesty. I will use Stampede every time and I thoroughly recommend them.

Meh. Replaced my broken opener. They replaced it with a garage door opener from Home Depot. I was sorta hoping for something higher end, especially for the price paid. They even had the gall to write "Free wireless keypad" on the invoice even thought the keypad is included in the set. I wasn't home at the time or else I probably would've told them to take a hike.

I also need the garage door replaced but I'm afraid they'll put one on from Rona or something...

Called Stampede Doors when one of our garage doors was closing with a big gap on one side. Same day service within 2 hours of calling. They quickly replaced the cables, noting that one had rusted and broken. Inspected both doors, replaced one roller (free of charge). Awesome guys and great service.

While most of the reviews are 10, I am giving 9 because they had to visit my house twice in a week to fix the problem with garage door. First time, it was identified as an chain alignment issue that got adjusted. Not sure if its related or not, the motor seized in couple of doors after the adjustment. Needless to say, they came down and replaced the motor.
